For the heatshield, which is curved, you can apply heat with a hairdryer and and it will mold to the surface without leaving any bubbles. I got the vinyl at a local graphic shop. Some auto boutiques may sell it. Edited February 12 by takatoys Quote

sh9000 Posted February 13 Posted February 13 The HG 1/100 line has some pretty good articulation for poses. I hope the YF-19 and YF-21 get released as HMR. Quote

m0n5t3r Posted March 15 Posted March 15 (edited) I know I'm years late to the party but I can't stop staring and admiring (and sometimes swooshing) this thing. Easily top 5 Macross toy overall for me, but now I actually have it on display, it's starting to supplant the YF-19 as my favorite in fighter mode. Edited March 15 by m0n5t3r Quote

Adding to that is that the design has 3 different engines & booster types incorporated into the whole thing that makes it more amazing. Quote

Even with its ultra sleek design, I was surprised by its heft. It feels heavier that it ought to be. Quote

MKT Posted March 18 Posted March 18 It has butt flaps, but somehow they accentuate the YF-19 having no butt for them And personally think this has the best YF-21 proportions.. Quote
