Great pic!!!

Always wanted the VF-3000 from those 1/200's. Series 3 never came to fruition.

I would very much enjoy a Soul of Chogokin TV SDF-1.

So would I, but the costs would probably prohibit me from ever getting one. So, the one I posted is a rebuild of the chunky 1/3000 Matchbox/ Takatoku toy.

Eh, I dunno if I would expect it to be even close to decent scale. Just something under five hundred bucks preferably. Reasonable size, transforms, TV accurate deco. I'd be happy.

It's sad that no one's made an updated, large scale, TV-style SDF-1 since the Takatoku/Bandai/Matchbox one.

We've gotten multiple updates to the VF-1 (and in multiple scales), a large scale DYRL SDF-1, even multiple versions of the sequels' Valks. . . but no updated TV-style SDF-1.

40 years is too long of a wait. . . that's why some of us went the customizing/modding route.

Just manage to find  vf-25S with armor on pristine condition and posing together with the vf-31S with armor. Look menacing together.

I wonder how these two will look if they switch Armor colors.

As Arcadia is releasing the Tomahawk, let's have some appreciation for the Yamato ones..

Yep, it's a good thing Mr. K has mentioned that the waist joint will be tightened up for Arcadia's version. Yamato ones are really loose & makes the toy topple backwards easily. Here's a tan version:

And reposting an olive version from a few years back:

Ok I just bring out my old frontier series renewal ver  do some cleaning and here mostly all of it except the 171 nightmare that I get to pull it out the box. There is some parts from the old ver 1 release part are compatible with renewal ver .  such as missile and speaker pot as well as the fold drive.
