Valkyrie addict Posted December 13, 2013 Posted December 13, 2013 I always wondered how a VF-1 would look with vertical stabilizers, suits it real well. Shows pretty well how heavily inspired it was from the F-14. Again, great job! Quote
505thAirborne Posted December 13, 2013 Posted December 13, 2013 I love it!! Just needs its Missiles added on & we're set! Quote

Berttt Posted December 14, 2013 Posted December 14, 2013 Very well executed. You should be proud of your work. I particularly like the grey color scheme. Brett Quote

nomalbill Posted December 16, 2013 Author Posted December 16, 2013 Absolutely stunning. Do you have more models to share with us or is this your only one? I have so many 1/72 VF-1 kits but I only finished a VF-0B. Yeah I should finished more. Quote
electric indigo Posted December 16, 2013 Posted December 16, 2013 Interesting to see how the simple black triangle behind the canopy lengthens the cockpit and makes the nose appear sleeker and Tomcat-like. Good looking paintjob, but since you went for a worn look on the fuselage, the decals could be given a very light overspray of the hull color to tie them in more. Quote

Thanks for advise.I saw many pics of F-14D. And it is very interesting that a very new shining Black Color on the fade gray. That is one thing I always want to show in my work. http://www.clubhyper.com/reference/images/f14bnewschemedp_6.jpg Edited December 16, 2013 by nomalbill Quote
