Mr March Posted January 15, 2014 Posted January 15, 2014 It's always a pleasure to help you 3D modelers. Providing reference is one of the main reasons for my website. I'd love to host pictures of your completed work in the For Fans Only section of my site. I hope your Monster model goes well! Quote

Rodavan Posted December 17, 2014 Author Posted December 17, 2014 Holiday time again - modelled again today so here some progress ... Quote
spanner Posted December 23, 2014 Posted December 23, 2014 This looks awesome! So you gonna pass your models to shapeways so we can get one printed up!? Quote
Rodavan Posted January 17, 2015 Author Posted January 17, 2015 (edited) Thank you - Ignacio and spanner76 An update but some opinions needed - Nobody seem to get this right as the drawing suggest and we dont see this blend on any drawings clearly. Let me know what you think of my version - remember this is a nurbs model not polys , the blends and radius needs to be constructed... Edited January 17, 2015 by Rodavan Quote
Mr March Posted January 17, 2015 Posted January 17, 2015 Looks amazing. One thing, if I may; the small rotating "camera/sensor" ith the red lense that sits just above the main shoulder joint...the forward section looks too tall/narrow (unless this is just the angle fooling me). According to line art, it should be rectangular, flatter and more wide than tall. But I think it's just the angle of the picture. However, commenting on that same part, it appears to sit too far above the "ledge" in front of it. If you look at the line art, the camera/sensor almost appears to rest atop the front ledge when facing forward. Only when it rotates upward does it cease contact with the forward part of the chasis. Of course, the front ledge is angled, so only the bottom right corner of the forward camera/sensor will actually touch to forward ledge, but I believe there is supposed to be contact when the camer/sensor is at rest, Quote
Rodavan Posted January 18, 2015 Author Posted January 18, 2015 Thnak you MR March will fix that sensor Quote
Rodavan Posted February 4, 2015 Author Posted February 4, 2015 Thank you Mr March Added some bodypanel for the cab .... Quote

Chthonic Posted February 19, 2015 Posted February 19, 2015 It would be cool to animate it to CRUSH Deck Plating when it walked- Killer Scene to show how heavy it is Quote
Rodavan Posted February 21, 2015 Author Posted February 21, 2015 Chthonic - That would be cool , I have not planned a render scene ...... Update .... Detail added Quote
