MacrossSuperValkyrieVF1J Posted December 1, 2013 Posted December 1, 2013 Hello, First of all, this looks like an amazing forum for Macross toys! I have only one that I bought many years ago, it looks exactly like this one on eBay: http://www.ebay.com/itm/Macross-Super-Valkyrie-VF-1J-Hikaru-Ichijo-1-60-/321259169356 May I have your help on: a) What would be an affordable display stand for that? b) It is said "made in China", and the manual says @1982, is this possible that this toy is made in 1982? Thank you in advance. Quote
barurutor Posted December 1, 2013 Posted December 1, 2013 These were released in the early 2000's. Quote
Falcon18 Posted December 1, 2013 Posted December 1, 2013 '82 was the year where the original series aired. The toy itself was released in 2002. A stand that would work for it would be the flightpose stands. I don't know anything else that is affordable for a V1. Also, check out the stickies in this section of the forums. You may find the answers that you need! Quote
MacrossSuperValkyrieVF1J Posted December 1, 2013 Author Posted December 1, 2013 Thank you all. I just ordered one! Quote
Cronocroxx Posted December 2, 2013 Posted December 2, 2013 In your opinion, would valk looks better sitting on a 4" or 6"? I rekoned a 4" heah? http://flightpose.com/ Quote
Benson13 Posted December 2, 2013 Posted December 2, 2013 Depends on where it is in your display. You'd want taller in the back lower in the front so you can get more in a display. Quote
Cronocroxx Posted December 2, 2013 Posted December 2, 2013 Yeah make sense, got it thanks! Depends on where it is in your display. You'd want taller in the back lower in the front so you can get more in a display. Quote
Valkyrie addict Posted December 4, 2013 Posted December 4, 2013 Depends on where it is in your display. You'd want taller in the back lower in the front so you can get more in a display. Yep, this. You can get a set of all 3 sizes and mix and match to get your desired flight pose. The pegs are just held by screws, so you can just unscrew and switch. Quote
