So I just got done watching Yukikaze Operation 1 and want to know what models exist besides the Bandai 1/100 kits? The various reviews on the net says the value are ho hum. For the price of a Hasegawa, you don't get the size or the details.

Are any 1/72 or (holds breath) 1/48 or even 1/35 scale kits considered for this series? The planes are quite nice in design and I would like to purchase a set of them in the future.

I also checked out wmcheng and LTSO's build ups in the modeling section. Got me excited but the overall quality is less than desirable.

There are two 1/72 kits, of the FFR-32MR/D Supersylph Yukikaze, and the FRX-00 Mave. Both are made by Platz and are pretty pricey at Y12800 each. But they're quite large, and the quality is excelent. The detailing is easily on par with Hasegawa's VF-1.

I did reviews of them a while back, but they're on the old forum, which is offline :(
