Guest Virtual8 Posted November 6, 2013 Posted November 6, 2013 (edited) Kangei. Philips makes a LED Light Bulb that is at 10.5 Watt! I have 14 of them and or 14 of 7.5 Watt. I have a 13 Watt Flood Light and or the 4.8 Watt Blinker Christmas Light. I also have a Philips Soft White 3 Watt LED Bath Light Bulb. I bought the new Toilet Lid at my Target and or I had in the bath just right above the lid a General Electric Flourescent 14 Watt and it yellowed all over the top of the Lid in about 2 Months. So, I went to discover the LED and thus on my Macross Flight and found that on the package to all of the Philips Bulbs that they do not yellow any furnishings! So, my apartment is now 100 Percent LED and I also have a cool little Energizer LED Night Light 0.5 Watt and or Neoperl 1.0 GPM Faucet Male Aerator to lower my Electric and Water too! I went to change all of the Batteries to the Energizer Lithium Advance AAA and or Energizer Lithium Advance 9V only for the Smoke Detectors, and I had Energizer AA but, I adapted the Polaroid 22" LED TV and Sony Blu-Ray Player with the Philips Universal AAA Remote Control and threw out those heavy AA's. So the AAA are light just like the 9V Lithiums to use around my apartment. This is a record for all to learn from and or that Philips LED 10.5 are so neat. I mean you can hear the sound as well in the Flourescent that isn't possible in the Philips LED. I have good theory that LED in your home and or surroundings will remove Sound Pollution, Cancer, Heart disease, Blood Pressure, Balding, Anger, Stress, Argumenting, Furnish Yellowing, Cell Phone Background Noise, Ear Damage, Focus, Anti-Relaxation, A Change Of The Atmospheric Earth Pressure, Diet, Nervous System, and or to help your Soul and or Earth. David Hingtgen Posted November 6, 2013 Posted November 6, 2013 Yup---flourescent yellows! (and hums) (I still hate the look of LED for ambient lighting though, only ever use it for pin-points) Quote
EXO Posted November 6, 2013 Posted November 6, 2013 Most household rated LED bulbs do no emit UV. That's good for toys but also if you use it outside, that means it won't attract bugs specially mosquitos. Quote
Guest Virtual8 Posted November 6, 2013 Posted November 6, 2013 (edited) All of us are correct. The Philips 10.5 Bright White LED are white and not the blue hue and or yellow hue! The 7.5 are a little yellow I guess the wattage low has something to do there with the 7.45 Watt. Edited November 6, 2013 by Virtual8 Quote
MechTech Posted November 7, 2013 Posted November 7, 2013 I should switch to LED bulbs. Maybe it will help with my balding! Thanks for the advice. I'm comptemplating building a display case and it's gotta have LEDs since they're cooler and safer on plastics. - MT Quote
