areaseven Posted October 24, 2013 Posted October 24, 2013 (edited) Next year, Marvel will once again go anime-style. Produced by Toei Animation and Disney Japan, and airing on TV Tokyo, Marvel Disk Wars: The Avengers will have Iron Man and company teaming up with a bunch of Japanese teens to battle Loki. Unlike previous installments, this one will be geared toward kids. Official Site A Very Japanese Avengers Edited February 26, 2014 by areaseven Quote

terry the lone wolf Posted March 1, 2014 Posted March 1, 2014 (edited) Toei has a long history with Marvel. Toei was Marvel's farm animation company during the 80's; they animated episodes of Spiderman ("The Capture of Captain America") & Spiderman and his Amazing Friends 2nd season ("Along Came Spidey", "The Ice-Man Cometh", & "A Firestar is Born"), G.I. Joe: A Real American Hero, Transformers, & Dungeons and Dragons. Toei also animated Dracula: Sovereign of the Damned based on Marvel's Tomb of Dracula series. The Japanese Spiderman live action was also produced by Toei.. Edited March 1, 2014 by terry the lone wolf Quote
