In ZD Toys line, they usually release a non-light up version first, followed by light up version a few months later. For Iron Monger, they went straight for light up version. I like their LED implementation because it has internal battery that you just charge up via a mini USB cable, and the switch is always easily accessible.

The Yamato versions are lighter and take up less real estate, but the weight and added storage on these it totally worth it. I originally purchased 4 then just recently acquired 4 more as these are really nice on compliment Arcadia figures very well.

Have to put tiny batteries in the head, chest, arms, legs, and even shoulders on some of them to light up everything. And then I have to take them out because those suckers will eventually start leaking if you leave them in too long. So the light up function is never used except in the rare situation I want to take some pics and go through the hassle of opening up all those compartments (and they're a real hassle to open) to place all those tiny batteries.

On the bright side, you don't have to paint the landing gear white. Also, if you choose not to keep your 2nd HM-R VF-0S, let me know.

More custom Valks to look forward too, Max's 29 ought to be an impressive sight. You can tell from those slots on the legs/intakes there's a good chance for the Reactive Armor (Ghost & weapons should follow as well).
