I did pick up a 1/72 HobbyMaster Vigilante though. Do metal aircraft count as toys? Eh, works for me. With no parts to fall off, and only the nose probe to watch out for, this one's pretty swooshable. Gorgeous plane, and they did a wonderful job with it, it's such a slick design. Also, I have no idea how this thing ever fit on a carrier, it makes the F-14 look compact by comparison. Also been having fun putting together the Bandai B-Wing kit, but that'll take a while before it's anywhere close to done.
Sanity is Optional Posted September 1, 2018 Posted September 1, 2018 Got a surprise shipment from NY, since I had selected SAL shipping for the order. You know how NY adds a big surcharge for EMS? Apparently even though they charged me less for SAL, EMS was the cheaper option for them, so they shipped EMS. On the plus side, that means my balls showed up about 3 weeks earlier than expected.

Alex GS Posted September 1, 2018 Posted September 1, 2018 Finally I got my hands of a Draken III and VT 1 Ostrich, yes is lighter than the VF 31's but definitely has it heft in it, I removed those protective stickers very slow in the wings cause of the warnings that I saw in some videos that it might removed the markings, not sure what kind adherent Bandai put in those stickers cause it definitely left some marks on the wings but fortunately not too visible.
borgified Posted September 1, 2018 Posted September 1, 2018 Seems like the Siegfrieds get more love (and have more variants in DX form) than compaired to the Drakens (with one in DX form with a possibility of two more if and when Bandai choose to do so). Still going to get a Draken regardless.

I didnt like it, it's got some combining super robot crap at the end that is ridiculous for the feudal Japan period its supposed to take place in. I do like the characters and designs though.
