Yes, it's underscaled -- as the vast majority of Star Wars vehicles have always been -- but it's proportionally accurate.  It looks like it's supposed to.

The Force Awakens TIE Fighters had grossly undersized wings, which I found far more inexcusable:

1278951623_TIEsnewandnewer.thumb.jpg.6b681cc2e582e959ddd825871e03e5b5.jpg

...and of course, their plastic was shite, too.  <_<

Maybe it would help to have someone from the Marvel Legends design team transferred to the Star Wars line...

What gets me is that all the recent fighters/ships were 3D models. There's no excuse for having them be anything other than screen accurate, because there's already a model.

Mark Hamill knows his character very well and unlike many actors he loves the star wars universe. Hamill is Luke, as Harrison is Indy. They contributed to their roles at times. Mark merely tried to warn us not to expect much, and he was right.

It would make more sense if Kylo tried to kill Luke in his sleep. He is the treasonous/treacherous one. Luke's character departure is too astonishing, and weak. Luke would never attempt to kill his nephew, he would talk to him, as he did with Vader. Now Luke is experienced, he converted his father, and he would talk to Kylo first, not just try to kill him. Luke would never leave his friends to die, we know this is not part of his character. Oh did you notice Luke doesn't whine in ROTJ? See how the arc works?

I never said these films were perfect, but they do have nice character development. Star wars is mostly about Luke's arc. From farmer to student, to defeat, and redemption. Just look at how reduced are the roles of Leia and Han are.You can equally say this is Vader's arc back into the light side. They are arch enemies, and they compliment each other parts in the story.

BTW those rations in ESB looked like cookies, and bread sticks to me.

I love my 6 inch black series, and my Figuarts, and Mafex. Hasbro is improving vastly. so i'll support anything from the OT.

I have to apologize, i was harsh on Kylo's tie fighter, and i won't retract it, but you are right. It does look badass, specially at 15 bucks.

Oh, yeah , forum stuff, here are some pics of some stuff i bought... a few years ago... {sorry i am poor right now, but i love to see people's toys.)

S.H. Figuarts' Luke, Mafex Vader, and Black series storm troopers. At the back the big x wing, i can't recall what series it belongs to.

Luke and Han are disguised as the stormtroppers...

Nice setup! Last Star Wars figure I got was the Wolffe Clone I posted a few pages back.

I also got this version of Kylo's Tie Fighter fairly recently

The figure is more to scale on this one:D

If you can't beat them, join them! :p;)

Speaking about Luke's confrontation in The Last Jedi. I don't mind it so much. I think the most egregious thing about it is the lack of context. We don't get anything establishing how Luke understood that Ben Solo was not balanced with the force. In addition to that, he pulls his lightsaber. Now, things get muddled depending on whether you are seeing things from Luke's memory of the event or Kylo/Ben's memory of the event so it's hard for the audience to get any grounded details of what happened between the two. I think that was what was disappointing to me.

IMO it didn't kill the franchise, though, and it certainly didn't keep me from watching Solo. I don't understand that or the fan backlash. Star Wars is still uniquely its own thing in spite of the prequels, in spite of the side stories, and in spite of everyone's opinion.

Speaking of opinions, I agree more with @Slave IV about the movie in general. It wasn't perfect, but I agree that it gave us some good Luke moments, even though it tried too hard to make him a dislikable hermit with his interactions with Rey. I did enjoy how it showcased more advanced force powers (how is phasing across the galaxy and holding back an army not badass?) It also gave us more insight into what using those advanced force powers might cost the Jedi. I thought that grounded things, which was rather necessary after Leia's Mary Poppins moment earlier in the film.

Agree but I'm not disappointed. Anything we don't know for certain like how he died after the projection and what happened the night Kylo slaughtered everyone just means there is room for more movies, shows and comic books. I think it is exactly as it was portrayed though. Luke sensed Kylo turning with an amount of uncontrollable Force that he wasn't sure what to do. He thought about ending it but him being the pansy that he is, pussed out at the last second but too late because Kylo woke up and assumed his own life was still in danger. Anyways, it's all good and I can obviously talk about Star Wars forever but I'm trying not to here.

OH yeah, I also got my VF-31C Super parts and my SHF Darth Maul Speeder the other day. Haven't opened either yet but looking forward to it!

WoW Slave IV that's awesome, yeah! that's more like it. Perhaps Kylo still a bit too big. You want to imagine there are engines in there. I got the diecast Millenium falcon, before this came out. Is this Tie also diecast? I love it.

TLJ killed Solo for me. I have yet to watch it. One day, when my heart beats again, I will...

I maintain my points about the movie, and i respect your opinion guys. If you find the movie entertaining, then thats great.  I just shared my humble opinion about this movie, and i have to say TLD did bothered me. It felt careless and misdirected to me.  Visually it is amazingthough.

Oh man, I wanted that Maul with the speeder... I think the speeder could be a hair bigger... but it rocks.

The fuselage is quite long so it does seem like the figure could realistically fit along with all the mechanics needed. I haven't opened it yet but based on weight and what I can see, unfortunately, I don't think there is much, if any diecast in it.

As for Solo, I've been saying that out of the four big movies I've seen recently, I'd rate them like this from best to worst:

Solo

Ant Man

Jurassic World

Incredibles

All were entertaining and none were terrible to me and none were absolutely amazingly groundbreaking.

Still, i think that is the best Kylo's Tie i have ever seen. Very cool, enjoy!

I will watch Solo one day, maybe...

I've only watched Antman & Wasp, and The incredibles. (i got movie pass)

I was debating if i want to go watch Jurassic World.

Oh yes forum things, here is perhaps my most recent toy. Poor Leia was at Sale for 7 bucks at game stop. I was not going to get her, but for 6 bucks....  That C-3PO is from TFA, and i painted his red arm, gold, and his leg silver. 7 bucks. Obi-wan is wearing a custom robe from an Ebay seller. He does great clothing work for Marvel and Star wars..

Yeah, one thing Hasbro has stepped up with is the face printing but they still often screw up the alignment so having a great looking face with googly eyes isn't the best thing. I really don't care too much about matching actor likeliness, just as long as there is character likeliness since in the end, the actors are playing the characters, not the other way around.

I think that's what we were talking about. At least I was. I didn't even know there was a BS version of it. I haven't opened mine yet but I have no doubt it will be more than adequate.

Yeah Slave IV i really want to get her, and Obi-wan. So i can finish my Ep IV crew. Oh i like representations of them too, just like you. My BlackSeries Leia looks like a ghost in that fabric. compared to the S.H> Figuarts, lol.

Hmm... Maul's bike will be the next to get after this haul arrives at my doorstep (and maybe another Tokusatsu one).

Yeah I love how freaked out he looks. Leia will die from standing there, when the hyper drive kicks in. Oh, no wait she can fly!

Thank you! I am working on the acces ramp and on the sides. It is big, and it is taking me way longer than i expected. It sure does look like a pile of junk now, so i am happy. Oh and it is missing the attack damage. I am making it as movie accurate as i can.

Do you want to get into the plot holes, and terrible waste of time in Canto Bight, the casino? Flying Leia? Chewbacca does nothing in this movie? Not for  a second Luke mourns the death of his best friend? They destroy characters at the expense of a joke(Genreal Hux)? The super slow space chase? The fact that Admiral Holdo wont share the escape plan to the man who just saved them, by destroying the dreadnought? This causing an unnecessary mutiny?

And you are not even mentioning that the  the First Order needed a derivative of Deathstar Technology to get through a wall in TLJ, when a single high powered blast from an AT-AT's heavy blaster cannons could obliterate a Kuat Drive Yards  DSS-02 shield generator in ESB.

There is so much wrong with this moive, i can't even watch it again.

Also if you noticed, the lasers in TLJ, arched. We all know projectiles lose altitude with gravity and wind resistance, on earth. When the 1st order is attacking the rebels, the lasers "arc" down into the ship's shields. (during the slow space chase)
