I've been wanting a set of these for a while now & for $88.00 shipped via DHL from Mandarake, I feel I did pretty good. :D

P.S. For those of you still wondering if Mandarake is a legit vendor... Yes, yes they are and their packing is far better than most other shops.

I paid a tad more for a 1/48 set, but agreed. They were on the level. I also find their grading to be quite conservative (ie, condition is usually better than they state).

Same here, I lucked out on a 1/48 TV set of Fast Packs for about $110.00 shipped. It's why I like Mandarake, their listings are up front & quite honest. B))

I can now say I that have a TV VF-1S w/fast packs in 1/48 scale & now in 1/60. B))

Just need to find a Hikaru pilot figure for it to be officially completed.

Picked up a yf19 reissue from Arcadia. So when the premium releases I have gotten every single  YF19 toy release including the 1/72 heavy metal ones. Don’t know why I did that.

I generally cave for pretty much any YF-19/VF-19 release, it's my favorite Kawamori design.  I might actually have more of those than VF-1s at this point.

This took about 40 years to find complete with box, instructions, and sticker sheet.

The smallest transforming Voltron.

Don’t mind the little plastic bits. I had to take a nipper to it or else this little guy would never move or combine. And yes it has articulation.

Sooo happy right now!

After so many years, I finally got CM's Max in his flight suit.. Miria doesn't have to be all alone anymore and melting in that dress (literally, some of these old PVCs weep like mad).

Thanks :hi:

I’d love to say I picked it up at a good price, but nope. Figured I’ll justify Max this time as a reward for having saved quite a bit from hunting down a few other toys at bargain prices. :)

I figured it wasn't fair to the other Delta ladies not to have at least some representation when I have 3 (possibly going on 4) Freyja figures.  Even so, Freyja figures are all just too darn cute to have just one!

And of course, I can't afford to spend oodles of moola on all 5 DX, but I can't have all 5 figures without matching valks.  I really liked the Tomytecs but they only made 2.  I thought about doing 1/72 kits but don't want to build them (and also expensive), so these lil Bandai Mecha Collection numbers should suffice for a nice display behind each figure.

Got a good deal on Chuck's DX, but now I might have to collect all of the spy/recon valks.  Boohoo.

+1 for Mandarake, that place is awesome!  At least until the shipping charges appear.  Not unreasonable tho.

Nice! What else do you need to complete the squadron?

Listen, I'm perfectly happy for you and your acquisition and I've always greatly admired the early iterations of Yamata - even the 1/60 scales, which I view as the modern precursor to the 1/48, themselves the precursor of the modern valkryie as we it today - but god, the yellowing on this guy is just terrible.  Makes me cringe just looking at it.  Are they all that way?  Is this just something that we have to live with now?  I thought modern collectors were immune to this sort of thing.  Instead I imagine us holed up with the rest of the vintage community biting our nails against the frosty, wintry cold of unforgiving time as it slowly devours our most cherished treasures.
