Yep! My 1:18 collection basically highlights the progression and history of AWD technology in performance autos.

Very cool. Love the theme! Do you have any EVO's, WRX's, GTR's, R8, V10 Lambo (the Audi lambo), etc? Ya know, my Fusion is AWD. You should get one of those.

Mine is famous race cars and TV/movie cars.

I have some in other scales and lower quality 1:18 so they don’t really count. All the ones you mentioned would be considerations based on space and money if I found the right ones I want. I’ll pass on the Fusion but I bet it’s a decent value for what it is. 😂

Yours is a good theme too but I fear that could get way too broad for me. 1/64 or around Hot Wheels size and those recent 1/32 Hollywood Rides cars are good and cheap enough for me to collect more of those…of which I have no idea how many I have at this point. It’s gotta be at least 10 large storage boxes full.

I've purchased some pretty high dollar 1:18's. Yeah, it can get out of hand. I don't actually want many though. Thank goodness. I'll have 18 of them when all is said and done. And all on display.:good:

This one set me back the most. A must have though.

That Senna Lotus is my favorite. It was my favorite when I was a little kid too. I used to have a picture of me sitting in one of them at the Detroit Grand Prix when I was I think 11. My Mom worked for Car and Driver at the time so we had passes for everywhere. I was drooling all over the JPS Lotus (I had a few die casts of them already) and the crew guys asked if I wanted to sit in it. I was stoked!!!!!

Funny story. A friend from school went with me. We had our own all access passes and my Mom had work stuff to do most of the day so we were on our own. Practice was about to start so we worked our way toward the circuit. We kept going through check point after check point with no one stopping us (apparently they were great passes!) all the way until we got to the Jersey barriers and fence separating the racing surface from everything else. The place where you see corner workers and photographers. We thought that was the coolest thing in the world............until the first car came by! HOLY CRAP! They were so loud that it HURT! We literally ran away.

Hahaha! That is awesome! Reminds me when I was in HS, I had access to military bases and there were a couple airbases nearby. I used to just go sit next to the airstrips and watch fighter planes takeoff and land all the time. Miramar was one of the ones that were decently close and I went there to watch the real “Top Gun”.😁

Quite amazed that the Lancia Stratos' design still looks fresh today, as when it debuted more than 40 years ago

That Tyrell is another outrageous design which really stood out to this day. No doubt it directly influenced Kawamori when he did the mecha for the Future GPX Cyber Formula series. Though I've never watched the series, I've been humming and hawing on the toy when it was on PO last year. And look, its the same scale as the Tyrell!

@sqidd - OK dude! Now I OFFICIALLY hate you! That's AWESOME! Where did it come from?!

I'm guessing you mean the BJ & The Bear big rig? It's from a company called Iconic Replicas. 1/43 scale (about 14" long). It's considered the quintessential example of the rig. I LOVE IT! Always loved it when I was a kid. Saw it and the actor at an Autorama when I was I'm guessing 8-9yrs old. I was in heaven.

They go for some pretty dumb money and are hard to find. Here is one on feeBay. If it goes for under $300 that would be considered an outstanding price.

Am I the only one slightly confused why the storm figure is wearing a bikini bottom, while the illustration has her wearing hot pants?

I'm more confused why the figure looks like a man.:unknw:

I'm more confused by the lack of genitalia on Silver Surfer.  Barbie's boyfriend Ken is rocking a bigger package than this guy.

1:18 1965 Exoto Chaparral 2. Man this sucker is NICE! The detail is amazing. I put a few stock shots in at the bottom of what it looks like without the bodywork.

And who doesn't love a car that has zoomies and velocity stacks sticking through the bodywork!?!?
