I'm realizing you need to add backdrops for your displays or else it just looks bland.

I couldn't agree more. ^_^

I couldn't find a decent background image online, so I drew my own from scratch:

Photoshop_workspace.jpg

I wonder where I can get it printed as a poster?

Get the kids to sleep outdoors rather than the indoors so they can build up their immune system, however there has to be a boundary before things can get really out of hand.

If you've got kids in your house, things have already gotten out of hand!

Whoa whoa that looks badass!

Dammit Arcadia why can't you give us the rest of Sound Force??

Okay, so the Mark LXXXV has quickly become one of my favorite armors. I like it a lot more than the Mark L. The SHF version should have just been a scaled down version of this.

At first, the stickers turned me off. But now it doesn't bothered me now.. excited to build it. But i do heard Complaints about the waist joint on the VF-31J

That's fantastic! Now I gotta look into this.

To go along with the 80s Tsukuda Mospeada war game I picked up the other day, I just received one of the four Macross war games that were released:

May be an image of text that says 'CITY FIGHT シティファイト THE GAME OF CITY FIGHT IN MACROSS'

May be an image of indoor

Three more to track down for a decent price!

its currently listed on HS and amazon.jp.

https://www.amazon.co.jp/-/en/TARMACWORKS-RWB-Valkyrie-Finished-Product/dp/B08TNT8RB7

I hunted mine down on yahoo auctions for a cheaper price and before it was officially released on HS/amazon

Thanks! That makes it easy. Although the price for a 1/64 car is quite steep. I do love everything else about it though. Hmmmm.

My other print of the 1/12 scale screens came out too big.  I had another free print offer so I picked up my corrected print.

The web exclusive might explain the steeper price a bit. But for some strange reason it’s found on JP online shops tho.

Yeah not in the price range of the traditional hot wheels

It’s ripe for customising into a 001 with skull or kite decals for roy’s ride....

Yeah, 3-4 or more times the price of Tomica 1/64 cars and around the same price as 1/43 Autoart and other high end cars I have. Still want it but not sure I can justify that value.

Vintage? Nice.

Yes sir!

I have been on a kick to collect everything from 1982–86.

With exception to the USS Flag and TTBP, I would say I am now done.

Cool!

I still have all my vintage including WHALE, MOREY and a bunch of other vehicles. I think I might have shared some photos here and even have the boxes for a lot of them.

Does that mean you have a Defiant or are looking to get one? Someone recently found a near complete one on the side of a curb and basically hit the jackpot!

No. The Defiant is 1987.

I had the major play sets and found them boring as they really don’t move and you have to by more vehicles to dress them up.

Ha, didn't notice your date cutoff. I was about done in 86 back then too. Would have loved a Terrordrome but never got one.

The Terrordrome is an amazing play set. I think I have about 10 TeleVipers just to man it.

The best part of own it, is that my son still likes to play with it. Here he is having a crossover battle of Macross vs GI Joe.

I swear my hobby desk really gets some serious use.image.thumb.jpeg.4f52f0115ed47c5baecce85529a3f4b7.jpeg

What a classic matchup! I may have had that exact same scenario play out with those toys he has in his hands.

Must bring back some amazing memories.

I am just so fortunate that my kiddos have loved playing with these toys and continue to do so.

That’s awesome and one of the reason I’ve kept my entire collection from when I was a kid. Everyone I dig out another box of old toys my kids say, “how come toys back then were so much better?” :D

I envy you @Mommar. I actually missed the PO for that. :(

How was it? Would you consider it's the ultimate Spawn figure?

Nah, it's a $20 figure in a $40 collectors box.
