Jefuemon Posted December 4, 2013 Posted December 4, 2013 Hey Jefuemon! you working on this yet?!?!?!? LOL As it hasn't been released yet, no. But I've already got 2 pre-ordered. Since the middle of September... Quote
cool8or Posted December 5, 2013 Posted December 5, 2013 (edited) Boxart!!! But... I throught that the kit will be the fast pack parts only, but it seems like the kit will be the complete aircraft. Edited December 5, 2013 by cool8or Quote
505thAirborne Posted December 5, 2013 Posted December 5, 2013 That box art is mind blowing!!!!! Quote
joscasle Posted December 5, 2013 Posted December 5, 2013 (edited) WOW that is a really nice box art!!! The best ever in IMHO. If I can find that picture in HD, will be my wallpaper forever!! Edited December 5, 2013 by joscasle Quote
cool8or Posted December 5, 2013 Posted December 5, 2013 (edited) I really hope the third book of Hidetaka Tenjin... He's the God of Macross illustrations! But meanwhile, I'll but this kit... Just for the illustration! Edited December 5, 2013 by cool8or Quote
joscasle Posted December 5, 2013 Posted December 5, 2013 (edited) For me, just my opinion, the best Hidetaka Tenjin boxarts so far are: #1 1/48 Strike/Super VF-1 (the new one) #2 1/72 VF-1B (Just amazing) #3 1/48 VF-1 J/A #4 1/48 VF-19 #5 1/72 VF-1 Strike (first version) Edited December 5, 2013 by joscasle Quote
Jefuemon Posted December 5, 2013 Posted December 5, 2013 My favorite was the Black Aces box art (that's why I built my launch-arm kit the way I did). I think that's now my #2. Quote
electric indigo Posted December 5, 2013 Posted December 5, 2013 Hobbysearch has even bigger pics of the kit now (no box art yet, though): http://www.1999.co.jp/eng/10242344 Quote
Reïvaj Posted December 5, 2013 Posted December 5, 2013 Is it possible to see the FP interiors with this kit? Quote
Dobber Posted December 5, 2013 Posted December 5, 2013 Holy crap! The best box art yet! Simply amazing. Chris Quote
cool8or Posted December 6, 2013 Posted December 6, 2013 Is it possible to see the FP interiors with this kit? It seems like there are not interior details on this kit... That's why the Club-M Ultimate Detail Valkyrie is still the king!! And about the missiles, I'm pretty sure that we will see a missile kit from Hasegawa in one or two years max... Quote
Gabe Q Posted December 7, 2013 Posted December 7, 2013 My favorite was the Black Aces box art (that's why I built my launch-arm kit the way I did). I think that's now my #2. I agree. The Black Aces box art is numero uno but this new box art is an easy number 2 for me. Quote
GMK Posted December 7, 2013 Posted December 7, 2013 Any tips where I could find both the Black Aces & this one in hi-res? Quote
Valkyrie addict Posted December 7, 2013 Posted December 7, 2013 (edited) So gonna get this! For me 1/72 always felt too small and I never felt good enough to built and ruin a Club-M 1/48 ultimate detail kit. Edited December 7, 2013 by Valkyrie addict Quote
danbickell Posted December 7, 2013 Posted December 7, 2013 Any tips where I could find both the Black Aces & this one in hi-res? Here's the Black Aces: (original size): http://i362.photobucket.com/albums/oo68/danbickell/Valkyries-SecondSortie-025_zpsb430efd5.jpg~original Quote

joscasle Posted December 8, 2013 Posted December 8, 2013 Yeah, Black Aces box art is really nice!!!. But I like more the new one, colors are move vivid!!! The orange planet (Mars or maybe Jupiter I believe) looks amazing as background!! Quote
Reïvaj Posted December 8, 2013 Posted December 8, 2013 I believe it's Titan, the largest moon of Saturn. Quote
joscasle Posted December 9, 2013 Posted December 9, 2013 I believe it's Titan, the largest moon of Saturn. You are correct!!! Quote
Jefuemon Posted December 14, 2013 Posted December 14, 2013 According to Amazon Japan, the Super/Strike will be released on December 20th. Quote
big F Posted December 14, 2013 Posted December 14, 2013 Awe crap now I'm gonna have to buy one... Quote
mslz22 Posted December 18, 2013 Posted December 18, 2013 Looks like my first 3 are in the processing for shipping phase at HLJ, fingers crossed that means they are in. mike Quote
Cesar Enrique Posted December 19, 2013 Posted December 19, 2013 I just received HLJ payment request for my 2 1/48 strike valks kits, I should have ordered 3....or 4, anyway, let´s hope they arrive soon, can´t wait to "molest" the kits with my fingers LOL. I hope haseagwa releases 1/48 VF-1 battroid or VF-4 very soon. Quote
GMK Posted December 19, 2013 Posted December 19, 2013 Mine's shipping. Instructions are up on HobbySearch Quote
Jefuemon Posted December 19, 2013 Posted December 19, 2013 I should have mine delivered on Saturday. Thing is, I won't be home until Monday.... Quote
cool8or Posted December 19, 2013 Posted December 19, 2013 Mine is in HLJ Warehouse. To me, next 1/48 Hase logical move is a missile set, and I hope with a couple TV version pilots, may be for 2014's xmas. After that, I don't know, but nothing before 2 years. In 1/72, I think that the best choice could be a VF-4, and after that, a VF-171. I'm convinced that a VF-4 from Hasegawa will be a Hit! And I don't see many chances to see some battroids from Hasewaga, sincerely. Quote
joscasle Posted December 19, 2013 Posted December 19, 2013 wow the decal sheet is really big!! all 4 schemas complete!!! plus some "aditional" decals!! Its great that Hasegawa improve their decals since 2009/2010!!! Quote
mslz22 Posted December 19, 2013 Posted December 19, 2013 Looking at the instructions i am so glad they made that plate detail on the top of the boosters a separate part, will make sanding so much easier. Quote
joscasle Posted December 19, 2013 Posted December 19, 2013 Looking at the instructions i am so glad they made that plate detail on the top of the boosters a separate part, will make sanding so much easier. yep! great improvment. also look at step #22, two big improvements there too, the front part of the missile launchers and the small detail at the side, no need of a mask anymore!!! And I don't see many chances to see some battroids from Hasewaga, sincerely. If Hase packaged their TV pilot, seat & cockpit from the VF-1J/A kit with missiles I'd be very happy. Don't take this the wrong way, but I hope you're wrong about the battroid prediction! Quote
joscasle Posted December 19, 2013 Posted December 19, 2013 I agree with Cool8tor, next move for Hasegawa need to be VF-4, for sure they will release a couple of more VF-25 (diferent versions), but next new mold need to be VF-4 (every one want at least 2 lol) I hope they release a TV version of the VF-1 Super in 1/48 (Max blue will be great) Quote
