Valkyrie Nut
Just a little something I'm working on: I've made improvements since I uploaded this pic, e.g. redesigned hands, and I'll be posting it later Edited December 18, 2003 by Valkyrie Nut
Capt Hungry
Is there something oddly phallic about that? Nice drawing BTW.

Valkyrie Nut
Here's the finished sketch:
Vostok 7
Not bad, but the perspectives seem off... IE, the head and torso look big along with the thighs and upper arms, but the lower legs, lower arms and hands are tiny... Otherwise, it's good Vostok
EXO
Try blocking out the figure before you detail it. Concentrate on the things that would make your mech badass. smaller head and torso, bigger arms and legs (not too ridiculous of proportions). If you run out of room on the paper don't be afraid to chuck it and start it out smaller on the page. Try a more menacing pose or if your designing it, just do a basic stand up pose. Just make sure it's still imposing even though its just standing there. Shoulders back, chest pointing upwards, legs apart, wrists slightly bent in while in fists. Practice drawing hands. Valkyrie Nut
Thanks for the suggestions. I'll be doing a new version soon (not sure when, but soon) I still need practice with proportions so bear with me please ^.^;;
Isamu Atreides 86
what i want to know is how come people aren't doing more Ken from ZOE2 fanart?? Edited December 18, 2003 by Isamu Atreides
David Hingtgen
Well I think those proportions there are pretty good for a ZOE mech. Maybe slightly longer arms/legs, but not "bigger".

Druna Skass
Here's one I did when I was bored in class one day. It's a variable form UNSF unit, since it's development was on Earth I decided to do something diffrent from the other units and gave it feet. Graham
Valkyrie Nut's sketch sorta reminds me of Tekkaman Blade. Graham
