ff95gj Posted August 8, 2013 Posted August 8, 2013 As discussed, more units to market, the less value the product will possess. However, I have no plan to sell my collection, so instead feeling my collection has depreciated, I feel relieved to see how the Arcadia offerings charge for a ridiculous premium for a new package and I do not have to be concerned. Ditto. It's still pretty easy to sell the VF-1 v.2 Yamatos for it's acquisition price these days as long as it's mint even if displayed (provided you were able to buy them when they were ~$100 back in the day). This is due to the inflation of not just Macross toys but pretty much all collectible toys. But i understand why some collectors are concerned about the value of their collections since it's always at the back of their minds to one day sell their collection and expect to make a profit.
