Robowang Posted July 22, 2013 Posted July 22, 2013 Hi there! I saw an ebay auction for a Misa Hayase model kit that I have never seen before. It was a 1/6 scale model of the TV version of her flight suit (not the uncommon-but-not-rare DYRL flight suit model kit). I was wondering if anyone knew what this was, when it was released, how hard it is to find, etc. If it was just some guy's garage kit, it was amazingly professional... (Wish I had pics, but the auction ended too long ago...early this year, I believe) Quote
coronadlux Posted July 22, 2013 Posted July 22, 2013 It would be nice to have seen the pics for it. Unfortunately, I know nothing of the model itself. Hope some one here is more help than me. But I do wnt to see it. Quote
Robowang Posted July 22, 2013 Author Posted July 22, 2013 I thought I had saved the pictures, but I can't seem to find them. Quote
Hikaru1234567890 Posted July 22, 2013 Posted July 22, 2013 It's pretty rare I used to have onethat I built a year ago but my dog chewed it up. Quote
Bariaburu Faita Posted July 22, 2013 Posted July 22, 2013 (edited) something like this? Edited July 22, 2013 by Bariaburu Faita Quote
Robowang Posted July 22, 2013 Author Posted July 22, 2013 like this one? Photo May 31, 5 59 15 PM (Small).jpg YES. I would murder a small dog to own that. Especially with that excellent paint job. Quote
EXO Posted July 22, 2013 Posted July 22, 2013 Thanks! I painted that! Lol. The one that Bariaboru Faita posted was painted by the sculptor. I love his sculpt but his finish is really rough. A lot of the hard corners were really soft I ended up resculpting the back pack on it. Otherise it's a very nice kit. I wish he would have included a visor for the helmet too. He also did a shower Minmay figure. Quote
Robowang Posted July 23, 2013 Author Posted July 23, 2013 Oh, so it was not an official kit then! I guess that will make it harder to find Quote
David Hingtgen Posted July 23, 2013 Posted July 23, 2013 Wonder if he's seen Frontier, and would do flightsuit Grace some day. Quote

coronadlux Posted July 26, 2013 Posted July 26, 2013 Sweet. Looks like he did the work years ago. Wonder if he still sculpts. Quote
