Graham Posted December 17, 2003 Posted December 17, 2003 OK, I know this isn't science fiction or anime related, but I thought it was really funny, so I hope the Mods will let it stay for a while. This has to be the funniest ebay auction description I have ever read and so true as well. Read here. Graham Quote

GreenGuy42 Posted December 17, 2003 Posted December 17, 2003 wow after all that people are still bidding on it. Hey, there's not such thing as bad publicity, ya know? Quote
eriku Posted December 17, 2003 Posted December 17, 2003 Now that's comedy! The sad thing is that the seller isn't really exaggerating. Quote

Well, I'm sorta more like an honorary admin. I have the power, but Shawn, when he's around does most of the actual admining. As for the Mods, well they've just been given full licenses to kill and been let out of their cage. They're lean, mean wildmen that shoot first and ask questions later, so it pays to be polite. Be afraid, be very afraid. Graham Quote

Angel's Fury Posted December 17, 2003 Posted December 17, 2003 You guys are right! It is somewhat funny. Why is this guy ranting about a useless piece of junk and why is he selling it? Instead of selling it on ebay, why doesn't he just sell it to a scrap yard? Is this guy brainless or what? Quote
Beltane70 Posted December 17, 2003 Posted December 17, 2003 I didn't even think that was a real auction for a few moments. This auction is definitely a keeper! Quote
eriku Posted December 17, 2003 Posted December 17, 2003 you know i think the whole thing is a front so he can push his webstore business Yeah, that's what I thought when I read it too. Hilarious front though! Quote
Father Jack Posted December 17, 2003 Posted December 17, 2003 I wish there was an emoticon for the shedding of one manly tear, cause I would have to use it here. God bless you you wonderful wonderful angry man! Quote

Vostok 7 Posted December 17, 2003 Posted December 17, 2003 BWaaaahahahahaha that's even better than the guy selling his ex-wife's beanie babies and the hairy dude selling the muffler. Vostok 7 Quote
Commander McBride Posted December 17, 2003 Posted December 17, 2003 Lol, this is hilarious. Have you guys seen "that Accord", the one going for 10K? Quote
Commander McBride Posted December 17, 2003 Posted December 17, 2003 Ah, here it is! It got up to 15k! http://www.somedrunkguy.com/rice/funnyricer.htm BTW, what hairy guy with the muffler? Quote
Yohsho Posted December 17, 2003 Posted December 17, 2003 I don't know this seems like something the guys at somethingawful would be doing to post as a rant later on. Quote
GobotFool Posted December 17, 2003 Posted December 17, 2003 BWaaaahahahahaha that's even better than the guy selling his ex-wife's beanie babies and the hairy dude selling the muffler. Vostok 7 Not to mention the guy who tried to sell a bottled ghost a while back. Quote
Isamu Atreides 86 Posted December 17, 2003 Posted December 17, 2003 there was one chick selling a drunk phonecall from her to the winning buyer..... Quote
Jolly Rogers Posted December 17, 2003 Posted December 17, 2003 None of them beat that nerd who tried to sell his virginity on eBay. Quote
Legioss Posted December 17, 2003 Posted December 17, 2003 I sold, last week on ebay, a Rick Hunter MPC. Yes, someone actually PAID $50 for me to send them an MPC through the mail. Just when I thought actually getting paid for the MPC was amazing, this week someone else would rather have episodes of Robotech than $100! Next week I'm thinking I'll put Rick Hunter's toejam up and see how it does. Quote
GreatMoose Posted December 17, 2003 Posted December 17, 2003 That is the funniest thing I've read on eBay. Ever. Quote
Mechamaniac Posted December 17, 2003 Posted December 17, 2003 Why is this guy ranting about a useless piece of junk and why is he selling it? Instead of selling it on ebay, why doesn't he just sell it to a scrap yard? Is this guy brainless or what? He's not ranting about the useless piece of junk. He is ranting about the cretinous swine that seem to populate the internet in abundance, and most of the world as well. If I had to guess, I would say the auctioneer works in the Tech Support industry, and is used to having to explain what should be simple things, to the idiotic, unwashed masses that infest the Earth. Nightbat Posted December 17, 2003 Posted December 17, 2003 Man not only is this guy honest, he's also a genius the likes of Plato, Archimedes and Confusius Possession of a powerful computer is no substitute for a working brain man, that line is Gold! Quote
Wes Posted December 17, 2003 Posted December 17, 2003 Those are funny, but my personal favorite is the "I Will Kick Your Ass" auction. Quote
Jolly Rogers Posted December 17, 2003 Posted December 17, 2003 Those are funny, but my personal favorite is the "I Will Kick Your Ass" auction. Hahaha, I remember that one, but this auction is definitely a classic. Quote
Agent ONE Posted December 17, 2003 Posted December 17, 2003 HEAR ME NOW AND BELIEVE ME LATER! YOU ARE ALL LITTLE WIMPY GIRLY-MEN! I bid on that thing. You guys are jerks. Quote
Blaine23 Posted December 17, 2003 Posted December 17, 2003 That is awesome. One man's rant whilst selling a complete pile of crap. There are dumb people everywhere, though... I'm not sure why people expect the internet to be any different. Quote
Jolly Rogers Posted December 17, 2003 Posted December 17, 2003 That auction stopped being funny with all the added description the seller added. Sounds more like he's got a big and thick stick up his ass. He needs to get laid and relax a little. Quote
