Warborg Posted June 11, 2013 Posted June 11, 2013 I've messed with playing some of the old Macross games via emulation, but Macross 30 looks pretty awesome and I've read that the PS3 isn't region locked for games... So the question is, what is the least expensive option for ordering Macross 30? I've briefly searched it on eBay and such and the minimum I've found is $85ish. Is that about the normal of what I should expect, or is there a place I can get it for a lower cost? I'm not even sure how expensive Japanese games are vs. the usual U.S. price, so any input would be appreciated. Quote
Warborg Posted June 12, 2013 Author Posted June 12, 2013 No one here has any advice on the best place(s)/way(s) to order this? Quote
cypherxv Posted June 13, 2013 Posted June 13, 2013 $85, is normal for what you would pay for. You can go thru eBay, cdjapan, or playasia. If its more than $85 on eBay don't bother, go instead with the other two sites. As I type this my 9yr old is flying high with his two wingmen. Get this game you won't regret it. Now my son tells me he likes macross, priceless. ;-) On its own its actually a fun game. Good luck. Quote
Tochiro Posted June 13, 2013 Posted June 13, 2013 Also, keep in mind that $85 would be for the regular version of the game, not the Limited edition. Sounds about average for purchasing the game new from overseas, although it can be picked up 2nd hand for cheaper. Also, heres the pricing on Amazon for reference. http://www.amazon.co.jp/%E3%83%90%E3%83%B3%E3%83%80%E3%82%A4%E3%83%8A%E3%83%A0%E3%82%B3%E3%82%B2%E3%83%BC%E3%83%A0%E3%82%B9-%E3%83%9E%E3%82%AF%E3%83%AD%E3%82%B930~%E9%8A%80%E6%B2%B3%E3%82%92%E7%B9%8B%E3%81%90%E6%AD%8C%E5%A3%B0~-%E9%80%9A%E5%B8%B8%E7%89%88/dp/B00A8E0L4S/ref=sr_1_1?ie=UTF8&qid=1371095371&sr=8-1&keywords=%E3%83%9E%E3%82%AF%E3%83%AD%E3%82%B9%E3%80%80%EF%BC%93%EF%BC%90 Quote
Warborg Posted June 13, 2013 Author Posted June 13, 2013 Thanks Tochiro, cypherxv... Like I said, I've never ordered an import game so I just wanted to make sure that was in the proper range to expect and whatnot. Yeah, budget allowing I'll probably pick it up... I saw some of the videos and was pretty thrilled with what I saw. Quote
