I just purchased a v1 VF-27 from someone who claimed that it's been dormant for some time, but the way the toy stands and handles tells me otherwise. Can anyone please direct me, or tell me how to take apart and tighten these joints?

I always though that was the main issue people had with the version 1 VF-27. I have seen videos of new ones that could not hold the gun, although the gun is a beast.

If I owned one I could possibly help, but I skipped this release along with the rest of the v1's.

Cmon guys I know someone here has to know about this and how to fix it. :)

just get a screwdriver and start taking the thing apart, then once you've got it in pieces apply superglue to the joints that are loose. it's pretty simple.

Yup. Though I used clear nail polish on mine. The -27 gets loose joints just due to sheer age. It is annoying that even if you keep it in fighter mode 99% of the time, all the arm joints get loose---and they're not even stressed in that mode. I mean, you'd expect it to get loose if it was holding up the ginormous gunpod for a year straight in battrodi mode---but not just sitting there tucked away. But they do.

Thanks for the advice. Took the shoulder apart and tightend up with the glue. Does anyone have any tips for the loose ankles without taking them apart? Im a bit more hesitant about doing that.
