charger69 Posted July 17, 2013 Posted July 17, 2013 And here is the box: Yamato's Unnecessarily Big Box Legend Continues Quote
Ignacio Ocamica Posted July 17, 2013 Posted July 17, 2013 No matter the cost, it will sell out at WF Quote
CRYO Posted July 17, 2013 Posted July 17, 2013 Yes, WF limited item, maybe a finished garage kit for that price? Quote
Pedro2k6 Posted July 17, 2013 Posted July 17, 2013 10 cm no transformable toy figure= $130 dollars 30 cm transformable toy figure= $390 dollar minimun. That WE should expect for the YF-19 Quote
anime52k8 Posted July 17, 2013 Posted July 17, 2013 10 cm no transformable toy figure= $130 dollars 30 cm transformable toy figure= $390 dollar minimun. That WE should expect for the YF-19 I'm just going to throw out that saying a mass produced retail toy will cost 3 times more than a super limited convention exclusive statuette just because it's 3 times longer makes no sense. I say that partially because it doesn't and partially because I refuse to acknowledge the possibility that the YF-19 will be more than $300 for my own sanity's sake. Quote
charger69 Posted July 17, 2013 Posted July 17, 2013 (edited) $250 is the right price . . . However we are going to get super parts and tons of missiles... Hmm up to $300 then... Edited July 17, 2013 by charger69 Quote
Mommar Posted July 17, 2013 Posted July 17, 2013 With all the extra accessories they're talking about, expect VF-4 level price. Quote

I totally hope that. what i say is a simple and random exercise. I really hope that the price for the YF-19 dont go much further then $300 maybe $350. Quote
Gakken85 Posted July 17, 2013 Posted July 17, 2013 No way. MP transformers like MP10 were only like $150-175 at retail. $250 is way too high MSRP Quote
CRYO Posted July 17, 2013 Posted July 17, 2013 Street price of initial release of VF 19 kai is around $200, the YF19 with fast pack may be $250+ for initial run... Even think it will be around the price for vf17D + fast pack Quote
Shaorin Posted July 17, 2013 Posted July 17, 2013 No way. MP transformers like MP10 were only like $150-175 at retail. $250 is way too high MSRP MASTERPIECE TFs enjoy a comparatively vast sales margin VS. Yammie/ARCADIA VF toys... Quote
Reïvaj Posted July 17, 2013 Posted July 17, 2013 It does indeed look like a Shapeways print, and that’s how much it would cost ($130) to print something at that size (I printed my own CG models for half that size for $60). For a figure or miniature, $130 would be expected if it were the size of the 1/3000 SDF-1, but for that tiny little thing? No way. And here is the box: It's not a Shapeways print, it's made of plaster and will break if you drop it. I guess that's a good justification for the box. Quote
Chronocidal Posted July 17, 2013 Posted July 17, 2013 Maybe it's just a printed prototype then, it definitely doesn't look like plaster there. Quote
Reïvaj Posted July 17, 2013 Posted July 17, 2013 I don't know, It's Mr-K who said it's made of plaster. Quote

Even think it will be around the price for vf17D + fast pack Street price...haha. I like how here on MW we talk about toy jets like they're some kind of contraband. Quote

skullmilitia Posted July 18, 2013 Posted July 18, 2013 Taste the rainbow. I don't know, it seems silly this is the first release. I have no interest in the paint scheme, I'd be curious on how many Units they actually sell. Quote
Lupin The Third Posted July 18, 2013 Posted July 18, 2013 From that angle the color/design now looks really, really wonky. Taste the rainbow.I don't know, it seems silly this is the first release.I have no interest in the paint scheme, I'd be curious on how manyUnits they actually sell. I was going to grab a couple, but now I have to agree. I really want to support Arcadia but I;m suddenly not liking the crazy pain scheme anymore. But I'll be on board for pretty much everything else they are doing. Plus their new shirow figure.... Hoping to see this in color at WF! Quote
Gakken85 Posted July 18, 2013 Posted July 18, 2013 Either way. If it flops it will be rare and valueable. If not somebody will want it if I dont. Quote
Graham Posted July 18, 2013 Posted July 18, 2013 I think the color scheme looks much better in fighter mode. Graham Quote
Guest davidwhangchoi Posted July 18, 2013 Posted July 18, 2013 i'm just happy the vf-1 mold is still around and hope they will continue to release more... Quote
Gakken85 Posted July 18, 2013 Posted July 18, 2013 It's printing money. why wouldn't they? haha Quote
r_hunter85 Posted July 18, 2013 Posted July 18, 2013 It's printing money. why wouldn't they? haha But strange color schemes that do not have mass appeal is more like printing monopoly money. hahaha Quote
Astro_BS-AS Posted July 18, 2013 Posted July 18, 2013 I think the color scheme looks much better in fighter mode. Graham And in Battroid too, but from the back. It´s amazing how they managed to keep the lines flowing in all three modes.... Already preordered, btw Quote
Loop Posted July 19, 2013 Posted July 19, 2013 Not really for this scheme either but I did order one. I kinda see it as the VF-1 that bridges Yamato and Arcadia. Quote
chen Posted July 21, 2013 Posted July 21, 2013 Looks like Arcadia is re-issuing the VF-1S again. I'm not sure if it will come with that new stand or not, but it looks like the arm on the stand can be flipped down to sit flush which will most likely be so you can use it as a base instead of a stand. Not sure if the top pieces on either side of the arm is removable but it would be smart if it did and you had containers to hold missiles or extra hands. http://blog.yahoo.com/cybergundam/articles/1272852/index Quote
Shaorin Posted July 21, 2013 Posted July 21, 2013 (edited) i could sure use a new 1/60v.II 1S Focker to replace my messed up 1st.Ed. DYRL Yammie. it will probably be my first ARCADIA purchase, so long as the price ain't overly unreasonable... EDIT; 16,800.00 JPY = 167.381 USD (7/21/13) dammit!! that's damn near what i paid for each of my two -19S shipped!! Waaahh!! Edited July 21, 2013 by Shaorin Quote
Duymon Posted July 21, 2013 Posted July 21, 2013 (edited) Welp, looks like Arcadia has to price these valks to get an actual profit this time around. The days of sub 100 dollar valks with fastpacks is over Btw, that stand is just the YF-21 stand I think Edited July 21, 2013 by Duymon Quote
skullmilitia Posted July 21, 2013 Posted July 21, 2013 How can Arcadia suggest this Price when the Die-cast laden renewals come with A stand and are 40$ cheaper? Quote
