yman1437 Posted March 29, 2014 Author Posted March 29, 2014 So, I have used buyee a few times, they were fine, 10% commission is better than most. but I am wondering about fromjapan.com, it seems to me if I have deposited fj points, the only money they make is 200 yen per item? I must be missing something??!! Quote
jvmacross Posted April 1, 2014 Posted April 1, 2014 can someone please clarify? thanks! http://www.fromjapan.co.jp/title/charge Seems you pay 200 JPY per transaction...800 max if you win multiple items from the same seller.... Plus the standard fees such as domestic delivery and possible bank charges..... It seems you will also pay 5% of the winning bid if you do not pay using their "FJ points" system.....like if you pay using paypal for example....so even if you opt to use their FJ points...you will still need to pay (add to the total cost of your final payment) some type of wire transfer fee from your bank to theirs (From Japan proxy).....no idea what that fee is like...can't recall when I last did a wire transfer...if ever.... yman1437 Posted April 1, 2014 Author Posted April 1, 2014 Thanks jv, but when we wire money, the bank makes money from the wiring fee....how does fj makes money if everyone uses fj point? Quote
