Macross Collectibles Market Watch - Current Auction/Store SOLD prices

Generally, anything that sells on Mandarake can be considered a deal. Their prices do not reflect free market prices...a similar item will sell for more on auction...where the amount of collectors vying for the same item are free to bid up to what they feel it is worth....free market price...

Mandarake is essentially a collectibles pawn shop.....they pay as little as possible for their stock....and thus can price it less than market prices....good for buyers....bad for the sellers coming into their shops....

For the most part I agree, but I wouldn't always count what sales as a deal, more like the prices are reflective of what items are selling for in the "real world" i.e. their brick and mortar shops.

You can look at a few listings like Ozma's 25S and Armor Parts along with his YF-29 as examples, in addition to some older or more sought after Yamato items.

Auctions are a whole other beast, and if you try and further differentiate between eBay and Y! Japan then yikes...

6 hours to go.

Thanks, I also know this listing, 2hrs to go and no one is bidding. here is hoping that the item will be re-listed with lower starting price.

I know per current price, it is "cheap", but I want it cheaper. if i buy it now, total price with shipping will go over 10k yen which is definitely more than the price I paid for the yamato assembly kit.

It is strange that the seller has all the same items up again.

If he did have multiples, its odd he did not sell them off during the height of the Yamato pricing madness.

Why wait until now to sell off all your copies?

--- Unless one buyer bid and won most all the ones he had up for sale, and then decided not to pay . . .

Yeah, I've given up trying to get a max miria 1J. Its a lost cause. Arcadia is absolute morons for not capitalizing on the m&m 1J demand. Just a repaint of the 1J mold. I don't care about all of the "max and miria aren't as popular in japan"or "their being careful" rebuttals i hear from sellers over there. They are selling for over $500 ...period. ..End of story. But, hey let's go ahead and spit out two versions of the 19.

Or maybe the seller has some friends outbiding other users trying to make more money of this item and the last time they didn't get what they want.

Ah, you fail to see their cunning plan. If they wait until the cost gets even MORE ridiculous, they can release the new toys for five hundred bucks and people will be "WOW, WHAT A DEAL!" instead of "that's outrageous, this thing isn't worth half that!"

It's all part of the plan. Bet you they're even shill-bidding the auctions to drive prices up. That's just good business sense.

they are given too much credit. There is no plan, i firmly believe their new vision is to pump out a few master works a year. The M&M will never be re-issued, mark my words. People have been saying it for 4 years and its not going to happen,

Things for M&M took a turn when folks decided that even if they re-release them "I want the Yamatos".

"Arcadia will screw something up, pink plastics, poor box design - something."

So the Yamatos notched up again IMO . . .

There are a few Valks that I want as well, that may not ever be re-released or found at a "palatable" price but if that's the case then I take it that it's just not meant for me to have them.

Besides that, it just means some other company gets my money, or I get to save it. I'm over being bothered (for lack of a better term) about the release schedule or quantity of these things. If I get what I want, great, if I don't, great.

Yeah, sorry for my rant everyone. I was compromised by some mediaction after a small surgery i had yesterday. I apologize for lighting up the board. At least i did score a 1-J mass production version today. I can grab one more rare type valk this year.

VF-1 Mass Production $400 purchased (for thread market info)

If they re-issued the M&M's and provided like-colored Side and neck covers I'd bite.

For anyone who wasn't into collecting them at the time, they're SOL. For everybody else who was around when they were first released... I don't know what to say. The moment I saw them I knew I should pre-order as they weren't going to be around long, they never sell as well, and would likely be rare. So I bit the bullet and went for it immediately. I even paid for them at a time after I was laid-off and needed to save money because I wasn't working but I knew if I waited there would likely be no other chance.

Eh, they are always up for auction somewhere.

If you see them buy them.

If you can't afford it... sell something or save up :D

Thanks. I have a VF-0S. Broke in half and had to get it replaced.

Why not wait for Arcadia's renew version? Variants must come after the 0D :)

Yes, it was sold out before I posted here, I'm just very curious to know if it was opened or not.

-b.

Nice! That was 'somehow' a good price. :D

Anyways, I always assumed '開封' means 'opened'. Since 開 means open and 封 means seal. So it's 'Sealed open(?)'

And the '箱いたみ', I always see in Mandarake means some dents on the box.

believe it says opened, and that the box is damaged.

Off course by Mandarake's term this may be a minor scuff.
