Gakken85 Posted January 11, 2014 Posted January 11, 2014 Maybe they shrunk them a bit. I wasn't under the impression that it was large. It's about the size of a Bandai SRC box, maybe a little longer. Quote
Twoducks Posted January 11, 2014 Posted January 11, 2014 All hail Sentinel and their awesome Riobot line!! Can't wait to get my BG. Quote

It's about the size of a Bandai SRC box, maybe a little longer. which src box size would you be referring to? mazinkaiser's box was pretty big for an src too, so a longer version of that would be pretty big. cool review btw. it's comforting to know that. the cape turned out very nicely, and that it holds well to the figure Quote
Gakken85 Posted January 12, 2014 Posted January 12, 2014 The SRC Shin Getter. It's smaller in width too, though it was hard to show in a picture. Quote
Mechapilot77 Posted January 13, 2014 Posted January 13, 2014 If I could collect more toys, these would definitely be on the list. was thinking the same thing. so many things i would collect if i could and these would be near the the top of the list. Quote
Gakken85 Posted February 12, 2014 Posted February 12, 2014 Can't wait to open my Power suit. Also, check out how involved the transformation of this Metamor Getter is. I really thought it would be one of those fall over and twist deals. Quote
Scyla Posted February 12, 2014 Posted February 12, 2014 The leg parts that fold into half and store on the wings look great. Maybe HasTak should take notes next time they design a airborne Transformer. Quote
mass driver Posted February 13, 2014 Posted February 13, 2014 Tempted to get the dinogetter. Is it based on any anime or tv adaptation? Quote

treatment Posted February 13, 2014 Posted February 13, 2014 simply quite a posable photogenic mecha toy... Quote
Gakken85 Posted June 15, 2014 Posted June 15, 2014 http://www.hlj.com/product/SET88019 Apparently there is a new version of the Knights of Sidonia Mech coming out from Sentinel if you missed the first one. Riobot Knights Of Sidonia - Tsugumori Anime Commemoration Color Version It's all white and bright red, instead of white/gray, and red. I need to read the manga on my shelf but I haven't gotten around to it. Really had to search for it on HLJ... the naming convention is crap. haha Quote
xrentonx Posted June 15, 2014 Posted June 15, 2014 Yeah, I preordered this version too! Something about the design speaks to me even though I've never read the comics or seen the toon. The first version is a pretty awesome figure. Quote

Gakken85 Posted June 15, 2014 Posted June 15, 2014 (edited) I saw a really cool kit weathered version on Tumblr somewhere... Not sure, but I think that's the kit that's out there. http://nctryzob.tumblr.com/post/86868194912/fg Edited June 15, 2014 by Gakken85 Quote
Dimis Posted June 15, 2014 Posted June 15, 2014 This actually looks better than the original, but i still hate the painted fingernail things. The backpack lance is so outrageously awesome! Quote
Mechapilot77 Posted June 27, 2014 Posted June 27, 2014 man i went to look for the original one ..... wow , costs a lot now. wonder if it has anything to dow ith teh recent netflix announcement...or did they just make that few of them? either way, i preordered the white one. i kinda wish i knew aobut this when the grey and white one was up for preorder lol. it looks pretty awesome. electric indigo Posted June 27, 2014 Posted June 27, 2014 If a model is an option for you, there's an upcoming Kotobukiya plastic kit. Quote
Mechapilot77 Posted June 27, 2014 Posted June 27, 2014 If a model is an option for you, there's an upcoming Kotobukiya plastic kit. looks like one came out last year. i can't tell what deco it has (or what color its molded in) because al lthe picture i can find are of the completed model (and i'm sure professionally painted). is ther ea different kit coming out? also the kits seem bigger 1/100 instead of the 1/144 Quote
Gakken85 Posted July 6, 2014 Posted July 6, 2014 http://www.fg-site.net/archives/post_old/157787 Another kit. Quote
Beltane70 Posted July 8, 2014 Posted July 8, 2014 It's nice to see that the really long gun barrel is included with the Sidonia robot! Quote
Mechapilot77 Posted July 8, 2014 Posted July 8, 2014 http://www.fg-site.net/archives/post_old/157787 Another kit. is that really a new kit or a custom? i picked up the kotobukiya kit for just under $60...who knows when i will have the time to build it. lol. also preordered the new version sentinel is putting out (anime color version?). love this design and the anime is shaping up to be a must watch too! Gakken85 Posted November 17, 2014 Posted November 17, 2014 The Type 17 is coming out in the next week or so. Quote
UN Spacy Posted November 24, 2014 Posted November 24, 2014 Not sure if we have an established Sentinel thread. But is anyone else following their new line of Mechatrowego figures? Anyone know if it has electronics? http://www.amiami.com/top/detail/detail?gcode=FIGURE-009235 Quote
SaitouSad Posted November 24, 2014 Posted November 24, 2014 It's not. It's a figure. Internal is actually a cockpit.Sentinel put up a nice little review http://sen-ti-nel.blogspot.hk/2014/11/35wego.htmlI kinda want one, because it's so cute. But November is a pretty heavy month. Hope stocks are still available down the road. Quote
Major Focker Posted November 24, 2014 Posted November 24, 2014 i wonder when Anubis is coming out Quote
SaitouSad Posted November 25, 2014 Posted November 25, 2014 ^ Sentinel actually showed a coloured Anubis recently, so hopefully it will be up for preorders some time early next year?I wonder if it will shelf-warm like Jehuty again. I for one, found the Sentinel Jehuty to be the best version in hand, compared to the kits and definitely miles above the Revoltech. Quote
Major Focker Posted November 25, 2014 Posted November 25, 2014 cool! maybe Jehuty didn't sell so well simply because ZoE is not such a hot property anymore. sad if true. i still want to see ZoE3 Quote
electric indigo Posted November 25, 2014 Posted November 25, 2014 More likely, the Jehuty, while an excellent sculpt, had a not so well balanced price/size ratio. Quote
Scyla Posted November 25, 2014 Posted November 25, 2014 Speaking of the Jehuty. Is there any difference between the first and second shipment? Quote
xrentonx Posted November 25, 2014 Posted November 25, 2014 A Riobot Anubis is a guaranteed sale from me Quote
DarrinG Posted February 25, 2015 Posted February 25, 2015 Sentinel is making a Dancouger figure?!? http://www.bigbadtoystore.com/bbts/product.aspx?product=SNT10078&mode=retail&utm_source=retail_news&utm_medium=email&utm_campaign=BigBadToyStore-Retail&utm_content= Could Dangaioh be next? Quote
Valkyrie Hunter D Posted February 26, 2015 Author Posted February 26, 2015 Yeah, I've been eyeing it, but at barely 9 inches I reckon the individual bots and their alt modes are gonna be crappy. There's also the fact that it's friggin $400!! Yeah, it's gonna be a hard sell. Quote
DarrinG Posted February 26, 2015 Posted February 26, 2015 If they made a Dangaioh that looked this good I would certainly bite. $400 is a bargain compared with SHE's $2,000 version. Yes - I said $2,000. Hope this figure is a great success for them so they make others - fingers crossed ( crossed in a cross fight! ) Quote
