The replacement that they sent me has a split in the left arm bicep and the socket popped out after rotating it twice. This is pretty much scam level of bad. I've never been this pissed off at a toy company. DO NOT BUY THREEZERO. They are scam artists. It's cheap, poorly designed crap that has a nice paint job. Send it back and get refunds now before it crumbles on your desk. Ouch! That's a major bummer. Hope you at least get your money back. Quote
Capedbaldy Posted September 8, 2017 Posted September 8, 2017 HLJ is going to give me a refund. Sigh. I'm ready to be done and get this crap out of my house haha Quote
treatment Posted September 13, 2017 Posted September 13, 2017 C'mon, Arcadia! Resurrect the Yammie 1/12v3 line! Quote
jenius Posted September 13, 2017 Posted September 13, 2017 I think they should go 1/24... it would make more variants plausible. Quote
treatment Posted September 25, 2017 Posted September 25, 2017 Got a 1/12v1. Not as bad as I thought it would be. Actually a very good item, imho, and not as wobbly as Chachi's/RPA's. Waiting on some weapons to dress it up a bit like the others... https://imgur.com/hI3OjZr Takara 1/48, Bandai 1/20, Takara 1/18, Yamato 1/12v1 Quote

jenius Posted September 25, 2017 Posted September 25, 2017 I learned something new about Yamato 1/12 version 1 toys recently. The Parachute sack gift-set comes with exactly the same red shoulder toy that was available separately... for some reason I thought it had a different 'red' on the shoulder. I think it's because the box has a picture on the back where the red shoulder looks darker. In hindsight, it's pretty obvious that the gift-set would be the same since they sold at the same time. Granted, it's very generic in paint/details and even accessories, but it really handles about as good or even better than the DMZs. I only wish the RSC kit and/or the LRS/Odon versions are readily available and not scalper-priced as they both are right now. Still, you really oughta get at least one for your collection. Especially since you seem to like customizing and stuff. I might panel-lined mine later on, but the current generic non-detailed look is actually fine with me. Fwiw, I just received both my LRS kit and Weapons set-3 packs... Quote
Big s Posted September 30, 2017 Posted September 30, 2017 Color pic of the wave bloodsucker, and a pic of their diving beetle. Also more actic gear including their bloodsucker in compact size from tag hobby. Quote
treatment Posted October 1, 2017 Posted October 1, 2017 Nice that Takara's continuing the Actic Gear line with the Blood Sucker. Maybe they'll also finally do the Order Buckler and Erdspinne as well. At any rate, moar pictarz... Don't have a 1/12 TC, yet, so a riced up regular will do for now... https://imgur.com/qYoc7ag new(ish) AT pilots... https://imgur.com/qBS7Nt8 Quote
treatment Posted October 1, 2017 Posted October 1, 2017 (edited) Just saw this over at TD: http://toysdaily.com/discuz/forum.php?mod=redirect&goto=findpost&ptid=258130&pid=7816254 Seems like ThreeZero's gonna do a parachute-pack... http://hobby.dengeki.com/event/456792/ Hopefully they finally fixed the issues jenius and capedbaldy encountered with their actual Scopedog... jenius Posted October 1, 2017 Posted October 1, 2017 They should do a website exclusive Melkia version with parachute pack! I'd buy it. Speaking of which... I haven't heard about my Scopedog that's undergoing repairs for a couple weeks now.... Quote
treatment Posted October 2, 2017 Posted October 2, 2017 meanwhile, over at hobbylog... http://hobbylog.jp/archives/1068031325.html reckon I oughta get a 1/12 Tachikoma or a 1/12 unit-01 just to counter... Quote
treatment Posted October 2, 2017 Posted October 2, 2017 (edited) forgot to post this earlier. Bandai doing a 1/60 Scopedog line, per TD posting: from http://www.toysdaily.com/discuz/forum.php?mod=viewthread&tid=258107&extra=page%3D2&page=1 Edited October 2, 2017 by treatment Quote
jenius Posted October 2, 2017 Posted October 2, 2017 are they models or gashapon? 1/60 doesn't really work though that detail does look nice. Quote

It'll be interesting when Bandai does a full colored reveal. At any rate, close-up of the Blood Sucker from the upcoming AG-V20 set : http://hobby.dengeki.com/event/457044/ 2x Blood Suckers and 1x TC set for AG-V20. Quote
jenius Posted October 2, 2017 Posted October 2, 2017 I'm confused why these aren't AG-EX releases. What's the difference between EX and V? Many of the EX releases are combo packs, none of the original V releases were other than the Transporter which came with a Scopedog (AG-V14). Quote
treatment Posted October 2, 2017 Posted October 2, 2017 Yeah. It's a bit weird. The recent two sets were also AG-Vs (18 and 19) instead of AG-EX. Best I can tell is that these new AG-V sets come in the white-boxes of the V line instead of the black-boxes of the EX line. Quote

treatment Posted October 3, 2017 Posted October 3, 2017 Not sure when the 1/8 got released and no idea how much the initial msrp was. Looks like a resin-kit, tho. We got somebody in this thread that posted a mag-scan of it back in the day. The dude in the TD-thread seems to have started building his kit back in 2011. Quote
jenius Posted October 4, 2017 Posted October 4, 2017 I got my AG-V19 in today... but I don't get it. Why does it come with the Uoodoo spec Red Shoulder custom? What does that have to do with the Battle on Quent? I mean, it's a cool Scopedog and all but wouldn't a normal scopedog have made more sense? Quote
treatment Posted October 4, 2017 Posted October 4, 2017 I reckon Takara surmised nobody in Japan wants yet-another V01, so they opted to include a V05 instead coz the fans can never have enough RSCs. It would've been better if they actually made an actual articulated AG Zwarg instead of that static kit they bundled with that set. At any rate, my AG-V18 should finally get delivered next week with Nendo Lum... Quote
teckno viking Posted October 4, 2017 Posted October 4, 2017 Only have 3 of the Takara Microman VOTOMS myself but DAMN i want a 1/8th one now lol Quote

jenius Posted October 11, 2017 Posted October 11, 2017 My problem with preordering these AG releases, which I would love to support, is how quickly they become available at huge discounts. Two months after release it seems like you can get them for 33% off. Before I've even opened mine I feel like I've way overpaid. Quote

jenius Posted October 12, 2017 Posted October 12, 2017 Japanese second-hand shops... but they're all still MISB. Like after 2 months local stores sell their leftovers to other stores at breakeven pricing and then those stores can sell them at big discounts and still make a profit. Quote
jenius Posted October 27, 2017 Posted October 27, 2017 Speaking of getting these way cheaper after the fact... AG-V18 is on sale right now at HLJ for 30% off. https://hlj.com/product/TKT88825 Quote
treatment Posted October 31, 2017 Posted October 31, 2017 Yeah. I got my AG-V18 at ami for around 4k-yen, tho... Meanwhile, my Yammie 1/12 Strong Box finally arrived! So my Melky's now finally turned into Purple Bear. Battling 'dogs Strong Box and Purple Bear... with Lum... :D Quote
