Gakken85 Posted August 1, 2013 Posted August 1, 2013 Couldn't see who is making this, and I don't like deformed, but it's kind of cool. Quote
jenius Posted August 1, 2013 Posted August 1, 2013 (edited) That's it, I'm cosplaying as a red shoulder custom scopedog! EDIT - No, I'm not serious... but yes, those are some awesome costumes. Edited August 1, 2013 by jenius Quote
Gakken85 Posted August 1, 2013 Posted August 1, 2013 Its too bad one of those guys didn't spring for a blonde fro wig and played vanilla Quote

jenius Posted August 21, 2013 Posted August 21, 2013 I'm playing with my DMZs tonight. Thought I'd share a pic: Quote
Gakken85 Posted August 21, 2013 Posted August 21, 2013 Awesome. That Coffin is a really cool addition to a display. Does it come with that background area? Found this picture online tonight: Quote
jenius Posted August 21, 2013 Posted August 21, 2013 Awesome. That Coffin is a really cool addition to a display. Does it come with that background area? No, the background was sold with the Material Version of the DMZ 1/18 at a convention in Japan. It's really sweet although a little small. I was just goofing around and put the Jijirium capsule on it and that's when I realized the display seems to be meant for this exact scene. I watched episode 1 and pulled out DMZ-06 and it's a near perfect fit. Quote
DarrinG Posted August 21, 2013 Posted August 21, 2013 JENIUS -- THAT IS AN AWESOME PIC!!! Ha! Great! I would make the anymoon logo a lot larger - that photo is going to get all over the web. Nice work... Quote
jenius Posted August 22, 2013 Posted August 22, 2013 Thanks Darrin, I watched ep1 last night and realize there are a couple tiny inaccuracies so I'll probably re-shoot it tonight. In the meantime, did you check out this auction: https://www.rinkya.com/en/auction-b145746502 Quote
DarrinG Posted August 22, 2013 Posted August 22, 2013 I have seen those Chirico guns pop up a few times now - I have since taken it off my want list - thanks for sending it though... Quote
Gakken85 Posted August 23, 2013 Posted August 23, 2013 Took a few of my Melquiya regular force tonight to celebrate my new lighting gear! haha Quote
jenius Posted August 23, 2013 Posted August 23, 2013 Hmm, is it that blue in person? I don't have one but I expected them to be more pink. Quote
Gakken85 Posted August 23, 2013 Posted August 23, 2013 It's a dark pruple. The Brutish dog is more of a pink. Quote
jenius Posted August 23, 2013 Posted August 23, 2013 Neat, let me know if you get tired of it, I haven't been able to convince myself to buy one yet but at the same time I wouldn't mind doing a comparison to the DMZ... Quote
Gakken85 Posted August 23, 2013 Posted August 23, 2013 It looks good on the shelf, and my lady friend thanks it's pretty so there is that.. haha. But I have two V1's now with the investigation dog, which is a lot! haha. I might be up for a trade or something at some point for sure. Quote
LOW_ALT Posted August 27, 2013 Posted August 27, 2013 I found this guy's work on Tumblr today: More pictures here Quote

antibiotictab Posted September 1, 2013 Posted September 1, 2013 Sorry to interrupt you... At C×3 Hobby (Chara-hobby) in Makuhari. There was the Volks booth. Quote
jenius Posted September 1, 2013 Posted September 1, 2013 Lovely... If I was a modeller i'd hunt these down Quote
Hoptimus Posted September 2, 2013 Posted September 2, 2013 Oh those look nice!!! I am still mad I did not grab the last big rush of Votoms kits from a few years ago. Quote
DarrinG Posted September 3, 2013 Posted September 3, 2013 My heart (and wallet) jumped when when I saw that Bloodsucker photo - I thought it was going to be a new 1/8 model. Thankfully its not - I do not want to add anything to my want list. I just want 1 1/8 Turbo Custom, Chirico and Vanilla figures. Fyana and Cocanna would be OK but not a must. Jenius - We're not modelers - YET. But these would be fun to look forward to when we are someday. I will watch to see if more 1/8 stuff pops up on Yahoo Auctions if they are re-releasing some items... Quote
Hoptimus Posted September 3, 2013 Posted September 3, 2013 I think a 1/18 would be a fun scale for something like HG Vot Play if you will... Quote
Gakken85 Posted September 14, 2013 Posted September 14, 2013 I was going to post that earlier! haha. I loooooooooove that thing. Wish I could buy one. Quote
DarrinG Posted September 16, 2013 Posted September 16, 2013 Does anyone have the Votoms Odyssey Book? Looking for a great book with lots of color that shows all the configurations... Quote
Hoptimus Posted September 17, 2013 Posted September 17, 2013 No I sure don't. I have the US Votoms RPG and Supreme Survivor. No import books yet. Quote
Gakken85 Posted September 19, 2013 Posted September 19, 2013 I see them on Mandarake from time to time for a good price: http://ekizo.mandarake.co.jp/shop/en/item_s-755840.html That one is sold out though. Quote
