grogall Posted April 1 Posted April 1 Yeah! We have Scopedog month, with the release of the ATM-09-SA with the ATC-BR1-S (Roundmover) backpack... Although the colour scheme may seem a little boring, it has enough differences in the markings to make the unit unique for the collection! And we also get a different pilot figure to boot. I was a little hesitant with the Bandai's HM-R line at the beginning, since in the VF-1 series there was a lot of compromise in the way parts have to be changed around, but they are doing the V.O.T.O.M line in a completely different approach! With most things opening or moving like intended! and the pose-ablility more like the Chogikin or DX-Chogokin line. They are also showing us that they will cover a wide variety of mech's from the series with the Bloodsucker and Fatty slated for production. And in the resent interview with the product manager Hitoshi Yanagisawa, he stated that Bandai will cover all aspects of Armored Trooper Votoms range from TV, OVA as well as Manga's. So I guess we will have to see how far they will take this line, But since we are only one year in and have three releases and two future announcements, the releases are quite brisk! I just hope we get a different colour unit this year as well! With this release I hope @jenius will finally be able to give us a review, and his overall thoughts in the line compared to previous releases from other manufacturers. With that has anyone seen a more precise date on the release? Or is it still marked as just "April" on P-Bandai's site? Also keen on seeing the box-art for this release! Just hope they don't screw it up like they did with the box-art on the turbo custom! 😱 Quote
jenius Posted April 1 Posted April 1 TZ put up preorders for their brutishdog, looks good but tough to compete with HMR. Quote
grogall Posted April 18 Posted April 18 Instructions have just been posted for the ATM-09-ST with Round-Mover Backpack so release is imminent! 🤗 Quote
MinmayMusicManiac Posted April 18 Posted April 18 I remember years ago hearing about a VOTOMS TTRPG that was released in America years ago. Looking for it just gives me Japanese TTTRPG results so I'm hopeing an older fan o Votoms can fill me in as i'm really young compared to most of the members who are on here Quote

I know they tried to bring the show here many years back and maybe it had something to do with that. Quote
grogall Posted April 18 Posted April 18 (edited) Found it very interesting that the a-hole too mount the base is actually integrated in the first two releases as well! But the manual never mentioned it.... Edited April 18 by grogall Quote

F-ZeroOne Posted Sunday at 12:46 PM Posted Sunday at 12:46 PM Wasn't "Fuzion" the system used by R. Talsorian games, a derivative of the system they used in some editions of "MekTon" and "Cyberpunk"? I think they used it for the "Bubblegum Crisis" RPG... Quote

F-ZeroOne Posted Sunday at 04:14 PM Posted Sunday at 04:14 PM https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Fuzion Some more information on the "Fuzion" system. The Wikipedia article at least suggests the "VOTOMS" RPG was published. Quote
Big s Posted Sunday at 10:07 PM Posted Sunday at 10:07 PM Was it a miniature based rpg? That might have been fun to use some of the Actic gear little toys, if it was Quote

Quite nice! Wish they'd included the sleeveless green Phantom Lady Fyana and an extra Chirico. At least, they have HM-R Fyana in her correct PS colors. Unlike TZ's BrutishDog Fyana... Quote
