I haven't seen the show since late 1980's so haven't even seen the two OVA's and Movie, getting them on Blu-ray is pretty expensive with the series costing $600 , but I'm looking into other options.... I didn’t see the show until getting a bootleg in the late 90’s. Although I’d seen odd kits and toys in odd shops here in the U.S. since the 80’s and was always fascinated by the designs. The ova and movie releases I think were and maybe still be on one of the oddball streaming services like retro crush. Might be worth checking into because a free trial might be totally worth it. jenius Posted November 15, 2024 Posted November 15, 2024 HMR Fatty and Bloodsucker at Tamashii Nations are welcome to see! Bloodsucker will go great with that LRS TC! Quote

The bloodsucker is still my favorite armored trooper. It’s kinda like if Votoms crossed with Darth Vader Quote
grogall Posted November 15, 2024 Posted November 15, 2024 (edited) Don't you just hate it when they tease us with "Display Only" makes me want to fly to Japan and break all the windows at Bandai's head office...👹 Now this is better! 🤗 Although who ever decided to produce the FATTY over the Bloodsucker needs to have his head rearranged! 🤪 Edited November 15, 2024 by grogall Quote
jenius Posted November 19, 2024 Posted November 19, 2024 My LRS TC is in stock at Anime Export.... w00t. Quote
Major Tom Posted November 19, 2024 Posted November 19, 2024 FYI if anyone looking for 1/12 Yamato Scopedog I have one in the for sale section: Thanks for looking. Quote
treatment Posted November 24, 2024 Posted November 24, 2024 Bandai's 1/20 Turbo Custom kit from the Last Red Shoulder ova... Quote
lechuck Posted November 24, 2024 Posted November 24, 2024 I could be wrong, but the Fatty doesn't seem to have the cockpit and pilot feature going for it? Quote
grogall Posted November 24, 2024 Posted November 24, 2024 Might still be an early prototype!? Hopefully they still have time to work on it...🤔 Quote
jenius Posted November 24, 2024 Posted November 24, 2024 It also looks cheaply done with the big seams down the knee and thigh. Quote

It looks a bit rough here, but I’m pretty sure it will get smoothed it and more than likely have a cockpit that opens. Quote
lechuck Posted January 9 Posted January 9 Takara has shared images of their new Scopedog (of course Red Shoulder Custom) as part of the Toyrise line – "Actic Gear" is back! https://www.taghobby.com/archives/828062 We will see more of this at the T-Spark event next week. Quote

I saw that they’ve been teasing this the last couple days. I am curious about how much this version will differ from the later Scopedog releases from the actic gear line Quote

It’s kind of a basic one, but has a few weapon options. Hope the line does well. I couldn’t get back onto their site to copy the pictures since we have no power and the internet is pretty bad right now due to the wind and fire risk. I’ll try and add some if someone else doesn’t beat me to it Quote
jenius Posted January 10 Posted January 10 Sorry to hear that, I'm in S. Pas and it's been pretty scary. Good luck! Quote

Hmmm. Looks like a snap model-kit. Maybe a Moderoid / Wave / Bandai-HG kits killer. Definitely different from Actic Gear, as the old AG bots have actual metal screws for their knee-joints and stuff., Incidentally, what is the scale of the Bandai HG VOTOMS kits? Just that the electric company isn’t taking any risks with what’s happening in other areas and these mountains can’t go up in flames pretty quickly. We’re just going in the dark right now with no power and bad internet connection. Hopefully you all will be ok. I know that when we had the fires encroaching from the arrowhead area a couple months ago that it can be very nerve wracking. Normally, I’d suggest an app like watch duty that shows the conditions of the wind and local fires, but without the internet it doesn’t load well. 5 hours ago, treatment said: Hmmm. Don’t know, but with a name like “Toy Rise” I’m pretty sure they’re action figures. But I wouldn’t mind little model kits. Quote
Big s Posted January 10 Posted January 10 Was able to get those pics for the purple guy. Definitely some interesting weapons that usually get over looked. I couldn’t find any rear pictures to totally identify the backpack and I don’t know if there are any other included options Quote
lechuck Posted January 14 Posted January 14 Additional pics... 8,250 Yen (incl. tax). https://www.taghobby.com/archives/828624 https://www.taghobby.com/archives/828062 Quote

Big s Posted January 15 Posted January 15 (edited) Hobbysearch has em both up for preorder and on sale.the sale price seems a bit more reasonable. Got these pics of the purple bro. the toyrise description seems a bit vague Edited January 15 by Big s Quote

Some of the later AG figures were pretty close to that price, I get the feeling that these are a bit of an upgrade. Not to many toy lines would throw in individual missiles for those launchers, especially as small as they are. Quote
Big s Posted Friday at 08:19 AM Posted Friday at 08:19 AM Here’s a pic of a couple upcoming prototypes from taghobby Quote
