Hikaru1234567890 Posted March 26, 2013 Posted March 26, 2013 Hi guys, I was going through HLJ and i wanted to get a VF-25F Model. But I suck with water decals. Does the kit come with normal stickers. If i dos not, I my have someone do it for me. Quote
GXPT2000 Posted March 26, 2013 Posted March 26, 2013 I believe it does. Dalong.net has a photo review for it, under bandai etc section. Quote
Duymon Posted March 26, 2013 Posted March 26, 2013 All Bandai VF-25's come with both Water and sticker decals. The only exception I know if is the clear VF-25, where the super metal detail decals are only decals and no stickers. Quote
Hikaru1234567890 Posted March 26, 2013 Author Posted March 26, 2013 Ok so it has both. So I dont need to use the water decals. Quote
David Hingtgen Posted March 27, 2013 Posted March 27, 2013 Just FYI but you'll find a ton more info and tips on these in the models forum. Quote
Graham Posted March 27, 2013 Posted March 27, 2013 Please post questions about model kits in the model forum, not the toy forum. Moving topic. Graham Quote
anime52k8 Posted June 15, 2013 Posted June 15, 2013 (edited) Hijacking this thread because I don't want to start a new one. way back when they first came out I bought a pair of the base VF-25F kits and never got around to building them. Well, I decided to bust one of them out and put it together for the heck of it and noticed this: The bright white part in the back is the Polystyrene runner, the cream colored parts on top are The White ABS. This is the first time I've ever actually taken the parts out of their individual polybags. Were they always like that or did this kit seriously just yellow while sitting unopened in my closet for 5 years. Not really a big deal since I'm just building this one for fun and practice before attempting to build and paint the other one. I'm just curious if anyone else has noticed this. :edit: FYI the ABS parts look kind of grey in the photo but in person they have a distinctly yellowish cream color to them. David Hingtgen Posted June 15, 2013 Posted June 15, 2013 I would say yours yellowed---while mine does has the ABS parts "a slightly different shade of white", they are not at all yellow IMHO. The styrene is "purple-white", the ABS is "grey-white". But the overall match is quite good and only apparent if you're comparing pieces actually touching each other. Quote
Wiz13688 Posted July 30, 2013 Posted July 30, 2013 I'm just putting one together now but it's a recent buy from HLJ. I did not notice any color problem on the white. I do have a 1st release VF-25S but since that one is gray. I don't see any problem. Quote
