Simple. Harmony Gold's official stance is that the Japanese court case has no bearing on them nor their Macross distribution rights. Moreover, neither Big West nor Tatsunoko have challenged Harmony Gold's Macross trademark claim in the U.S., and so it remains in place. Basically, this trademark effectively prevents any other company from purchasing the international distribution rights to any Macross product—be that anime, game, or merchandise—without inviting a lawsuit. stolen from: http://www.macrosswo...showtopic=36541 Edited March 15, 2013 by Gakken85

Kaldar5 Posted March 15, 2013 Posted March 15, 2013 It's good that they bring this craptastic situation to light for the average anime & vid game fan so maybe they will make an effort to see what they are prevented from seeing.I hope there is a level of hell for needless prevention of art consumption.Effectively preventing people from watching and buying art that brings enjoyment is just plain bad for humanity.
