1 VF-1 2NV Posted August 25, 2003 Posted August 25, 2003 I've finally succumbed. I finally got my first 1/48 yammie, the vf-1s to be exact. I'm in awe of it's shape and weight. Damn it's light. Anyway I haven't tried to transform it yet...I eventually will. This is where I ask all MW owners of the 1/48 yammie to tell me what to be careful with when I'm transforming it between fighter, gerwalk, and battroid. Thanks !
Myersjessee Posted August 25, 2003 Posted August 25, 2003 (edited) Congratulations! Honestly, I think the 1/48 is pretty solid....just go slowly on the transformation, and don't stress the backpack and youll be fine. Edited August 25, 2003 by Myersjessee
Fatalist Posted August 25, 2003 Posted August 25, 2003 The area's I watch are just the backpack and the tabs that hold the legs to the body while in fighter. Other than that, just watch the head lasers as you move the head into position for battroid.
VF Tyrant Posted August 25, 2003 Posted August 25, 2003 Wohoooo!!! Welcome to the 1/48 world!!! Congratulations!!!
1 VF-1 2NV Posted August 25, 2003 Author Posted August 25, 2003 1/48 world???? I thought this was reality. The reality that yamato will take every penny earned from those who buy these beautiful "masterpieces" !
GobotFool Posted August 25, 2003 Posted August 25, 2003 careful on the hip joint when swinging it down for Gerwalk, I broke the tab that is intended to restrict the forward movement beyond a point when transforming once

Sorry, I was triying to say that this is a new world because we have already the 1/60s and 1/72s, and with the 1/48s you canĀ“t get only one hehe you always want more, its like an adiction Edited August 25, 2003 by VF Tyrant
Roy Focker Posted August 25, 2003 Posted August 25, 2003 Next time anyone gives a vague topic title like this I'll delete their topic. This one I'll just close.
