Dimis Posted March 17, 2013 Posted March 17, 2013 Just daydreaming, but imagine how relieved you would feel if there was another announcement from Yamato saying "Actually, we are not going anywhere, all this was just so that we teach our japanese buyers a lesson for chasing after Bandai DXs all the time... and so we are on schedule, with VT-1 in June, YF-19 in September, and VF-5000 for December..." - got to stop now! dizman Posted March 17, 2013 Posted March 17, 2013 So the 1/60 Monster is coming out next right..... RIGHT?! Quote

CoreyD Posted March 17, 2013 Posted March 17, 2013 This is a day late, but I want to point out that Cybergundam was already called out for just posting rumors and has no more information than anybody else. Don't take his post as anything other than idle speculation. I know that all this idle speculation is natural given how little we've heard, but it's also dangerous. Repeat something enough and it eventually gets accepted as fact. Quote
VF-Zer0S Posted March 19, 2013 Posted March 19, 2013 So has anyone emailed them and received any news? I'm about to start this line and it would be a shame if it really ended Quote

3D-Brainx Posted March 20, 2013 Posted March 20, 2013 Valks vanishing from online stores everywhere... Yeap....., HLJ is almost out of 1/60 scale, only a few vf-1 and the 19s Quote
plutoniumhunter Posted March 20, 2013 Posted March 20, 2013 Yeap....., HLJ is almost out of 1/60 scale, only a few vf-1 and the 19s Not sure if I should grab a few more when I can, or take a leap of faith and do nothing, wait and see for the next few months... Quote
Valkyrie Magnus Posted March 20, 2013 Posted March 20, 2013 I went on a buying spree with no regrets. I planned on the purchases to be spread out through the year but disappearing Valkyries changed my mind. If Arcadia does come with Valkyries I want a TV Roy VF -1S with a Hikaru figure and Misa sitting on his lap wearing his helmet and the canopy shattered. Quote

Valkyrie Magnus Posted March 20, 2013 Posted March 20, 2013 That's not a detailed enough request, your gonna have to add more details.. Lol I think that was episode 27 after Hikaru rescues Misa from Grand Cannon in Alaska Base. Quote
Graham Posted March 20, 2013 Posted March 20, 2013 Just went on a buying spree and bought another VF-17S, a VF-1A Cavaliers and another VF-1S Focker TV 30th anni. Will feel sad if these are the last Yamatos I ever buy. Graham Quote
Reïvaj Posted March 20, 2013 Posted March 20, 2013 Well, if anyone among us all knows that would be you, Graham Quote
Cdisdope Posted March 20, 2013 Posted March 20, 2013 Valks vanishing from online stores everywhere... For real...even Mandarake's website has no VF-1s left. And people on yahoo auctions Japan are buying stuff up for high prices. Arcadia seriously needs to say something about the Macross series soon. Quote
Graham Posted March 20, 2013 Posted March 20, 2013 I've still got no additional information about whether Arcadia will continue with 1/60 scale transforming Macross toys. But my gut feeling is that it's game over. Graham Quote
plutoniumhunter Posted March 20, 2013 Posted March 20, 2013 Oh my oh my. I think that's as clear as Graham has been yet! Quote
eyesonme78 Posted March 20, 2013 Posted March 20, 2013 (edited) Bidded on a VF-1D ver 2.0 and a TV Roy with super packs.. these are probably the last valks I will get.. am aiming for vf-22s gamlin custom... or a VF-11B.. Edited March 20, 2013 by eyesonme78 Quote
senator02103 Posted March 20, 2013 Posted March 20, 2013 Wait the Valk's are disappearing? I just started collecting the 1/60 series! Do I need to start panic buying them?. Quote
kyekye Posted March 20, 2013 Posted March 20, 2013 Panicked and bought blue Queadluun-Rau.... A lot of panicking and panic shopping this month! Too bad if all this shopping money doesn't go to Yamato-san and ends up in debtor's pocket Quote
charger69 Posted March 20, 2013 Posted March 20, 2013 (edited) I've started panicking last week guys Edited March 20, 2013 by charger69 Quote
Mommar Posted March 20, 2013 Posted March 20, 2013 I'd better find some more Super Packs and get a third VF-17 so I can keep one in each mode. I figured there would be a chance for a Milia/Ray/Teal version I could get as a third option but that's probably not happening at all now. Quote
eyesonme78 Posted March 20, 2013 Posted March 20, 2013 wait on Hkcollectibles, VF-22 Gamlin custom is out of stock!! WTH..... i think i better act fast on VF-11B.. Quote
ff95gj Posted March 20, 2013 Posted March 20, 2013 No one knows what will happen next, so this may be the perfect time to get panick. In Hong Kong Yahoo Auction, many valks are gone. I've seen the sellers carrying 8 boxes of Yammies to trade. (Don't ask me what I was doing then!) Checked Yahoo Japan Auction, similar deal. a. Buy it now (at normal price) b. Buy it later (at an inflated price if these toys are gone forever, or at a discount if Arcadia re-issues them in ample amount) c. Never see them again, or only see them at ridiculous price Many people chose (a) now it seems. Quote
xrentonx Posted March 20, 2013 Posted March 20, 2013 Guilty of panic buying here Just picked up a Hikaru 1j and a DYRL cannon fodder. Also got the armor/super pack for a 17 for good measure because it's doubtful hlj will fulfill my backorder. Quote
jvmacross Posted March 20, 2013 Author Posted March 20, 2013 wait on Hkcollectibles, VF-22 Gamlin custom is out of stock!! WTH..... i think i better act fast on VF-11B.. VF-22 Gamlin gone??? The perennial shelf warmer!!! I do believe that is one of the signs of the (Macross) apocalypse.... Quote
Valkyrie Magnus Posted March 20, 2013 Posted March 20, 2013 When Graham said game over it reminded me of the rebel base on Hoth when the commander gave the order to retreat except for us we ran to the online stores to panic buy. I am sitting in My X-Wing ready to go. Quote
Archer Posted March 20, 2013 Posted March 20, 2013 This is grave news indeed. Darn. After a few years of collecting, buying, and selling, I now have zero Yammie valks, and a bunch of Bandai stuff. And all my budget now is going to tech. Maybe I'll still be able to pick up an off the beaten path VF-1 v. 2 eventually in the near future Quote
plutoniumhunter Posted March 20, 2013 Posted March 20, 2013 Alright, "readies wallet" *starts browsing* Bye bye rest of this and next month's food... Quote
jvmacross Posted March 20, 2013 Author Posted March 20, 2013 When I hear "game over" it will always mean this scene to me.....until I die....at which point it will actually be "game over"....at least around these parts! Quote
Kyp Durron Posted March 20, 2013 Posted March 20, 2013 (edited) I only have 3 Yamato's, the 1/60 V2 DRYL Roy w/Super Parts, the VF-0S first edition, and thankfully, the Low Vis 1S version. I'm happy with those, my space was limited anyways. R.I.P. Yamato 1/60's, you will be forever missed. -Kyp Edited March 20, 2013 by Kyp Durron Quote
Valkyrie23 Posted March 20, 2013 Posted March 20, 2013 (edited) I just put in another big order with HKC and the two VF-1's I ordered are now listed as out of stock. Got in just before the door closed I guess... Now I only need a few more VF-1's to complete my want list. And of course 2 of them are the hardest to find (VF-1J M&Ms).
