you can see the list price on amiami for their pre-owned items.  just scroll down a bit.  (shows 22.000 yen)

Hlj was selling them for just under 17000 yen

I was hoping that the Chronos, being Bandai's new matte-finished Chogokin at that time, would have somewhat different plastics & therefore better protection against yellowing than other Frontier valks of same era.

Alas, based on my own copy and what I'm seeing around the net these days, they yellow just as easily.. :(

I have since banished any, direct or indirect, natural sunlight source around the newer VF-31s and the VF-1s, lest they meet the same fate.

Today it was arrived and all good, but brace for gearlwalk without stand was not in box and missed. Little dissapointed about it for that price of item. I think i need write to support, so be carefull.

If you're going to pose in Gerwalk you really do need that piece.  It does not hold together if you elect to use the waist swivel gimmick.

Ahh, I picked mine up after about 3 years of standing still in battroid mode, and its legs are like noodles, haha. The ball joints in the feet are quite bad. Surprisingly the nose still doesn't droop at all without a bracket.

I don’t suppose anyone knows a good way to stiffen up the ball joint ankles?

There was a mention of trying Liquidtex Matte Varnish on the TFW2005: Macross Thread (I have not tried this, however I read that Wotafa did use this method). You could get the gloss version if it's slightly affordable, as I don't know the differences.

https://www.liquitex.com/row/products/professional/gessoes-mediums-varnishes/matte-varnish/?tab=techniques

Follow the instructions and add thin layers with a three hour drying time in between each (recommends three coats). If more is needed, then add with ample drying time in between coats.

Get the small bottle (8.45 oz/250 ml) as it's quite pricey for larger bottle. Can be ordered through Amazon or your local arts store (Michaels, Wal-Mart (?), Curry's [if in Toronto], Lobby Hobby, etc).

This can be used on the VF-25/YF-29 as well.

* Future Floor Finish is not recommended as it's for tightening joints on TF's, Figuarts or anything plastic joint related. *

This will be a pass since there's a spot slightly yellowed for some or if anyone is interested?

For 20k yen (Opened, used, minor box damaged, body coloured change)

https://order.mandarake.co.jp/order/detailPage/item?itemCode=1136387082&ref=doc&keyword=マクロス&lang=en

I saw that and got excited until i noticed the yellowing. I just can't do it. I hate the yellowing. Anything that yellows get packed and sold at a discount. Just makes me mad having it around.
