YF-29 Durandal Posted June 24, 2014 Posted June 24, 2014 Highly doubt it. Yeah I thought that it was a longshot. Quote
Kanedas Bike Posted June 25, 2014 Posted June 25, 2014 Dat waist joint. That waist articulation looks amazing, I just really hope that it's designed in such a way that it doesn't loosen over time. I'm not going to lie, if Bandai had started with that first Battroid firing pose I'd probably have placed a pre-order at below, at or above retail (well, within reason ). -b. Quote
Mommar Posted June 25, 2014 Posted June 25, 2014 I'm still concerned that waist twist will totally compromise Gerwalk. Quote
Shukenzero Posted June 25, 2014 Posted June 25, 2014 (edited) I'm still concerned that waist twist will totally compromise Gerwalk. That's where nail polish comes in handy. I'm looking forward to the first new mold in a while. I'm sure there won't be as many complaints as with the V1 25s. Edited June 25, 2014 by Shukenzero Quote
skullmilitia Posted June 25, 2014 Posted June 25, 2014 If this holds together QC wise, this maybe the most articulated valk to date. Only fear is we end up getting VF-25 Rerenewals. I can see it now.. Bandai announces Ozuma VF-25S ver 3... I know I'm twisted. Quote
Xigfrid Posted June 25, 2014 Posted June 25, 2014 Surprisingly, it may be the reason why the 25s has been so delayed. I can clearly see how making a new mold for the VF-25s can reduce the costs if it can eliminate the painting job. But would it imply improvements over the current renewal, I wouldn't bet on that. But let us dream! Quote

ULessa Posted June 25, 2014 Posted June 25, 2014 That extreme twist at the bottom is kinda ridiculous... Quote
xrentonx Posted June 25, 2014 Posted June 25, 2014 That waist twist and the clearance from the backpack are gonna push this Valk to the number one spot for articulation Quote
Kanedas Bike Posted June 26, 2014 Posted June 26, 2014 That waist twist and the clearance from the backpack are gonna push this Valk to the number one spot for articulation It certainly looks that way/has the potential. Makes me think of the calls for Yamato/Arcadia to add or redesign the VF-1 to allow for waist articulation. How awesome would that be to get even more dynamic poses with a Max VF-1S or 1A. -b. Quote
Scream Man Posted June 26, 2014 Posted June 26, 2014 love it. Glad i kept my preorder. Now as long as NY doesn't screw me... Quote

skullmilitia Posted June 26, 2014 Posted June 26, 2014 Wow, that underside, It's always sobering how much kibble doesn't exist on well engineered mecha. Gotta give it to Kawamori, it's amazing. Quote
YF-29 Durandal Posted June 26, 2014 Posted June 26, 2014 Welp, that's it. I've signed up for NY to tell me when they have pre-orders available. The pre-order boat has sailed methinks now it's just waiting for release. Quote
Mommar Posted June 26, 2014 Posted June 26, 2014 (edited) Well now we definitely know for sure, unless there's some other trick up their sleeve, when that missile box is deployed the gunpod will not be attached. I do find that giant gap in the suspension of the gunpod a little disappointing. I'm curious to see the transformation now. Where are these pics from? Edited June 26, 2014 by Mommar Quote
Loop Posted June 26, 2014 Posted June 26, 2014 Still not so sure about the intakes just hanging out while in gerwalk mode, I guess we will see. Quote
Kelsain Posted June 26, 2014 Posted June 26, 2014 Seems like this would've been a good candidate for some kind of alternate gun pod mount, i.e. the VF-17 or VF-2SS. Quote

ULessa Posted June 27, 2014 Posted June 27, 2014 Seeing that Gearwalk picture worries me that the legs are going to be on the ball joint rather than just the flip down on the YF-29 Quote
spanner Posted June 27, 2014 Posted June 27, 2014 hey anyone know if there are any places with pre-orders still open for the YF-30? I would like to get one for my son also. Quote
Gakken85 Posted June 27, 2014 Posted June 27, 2014 Wait till release date. Should be some stock that frees up from cancellations and things. Quote
spanner Posted June 27, 2014 Posted June 27, 2014 yeah sounds like a good plan! I did have a look around and found nothing.. Quote

Gakken85 Posted June 27, 2014 Posted June 27, 2014 Well I guess I'm not displaying mine in Gerwalk Gerwalk is for jerks Quote
ULessa Posted June 27, 2014 Posted June 27, 2014 Gerwalk is for jerks I like Gerwalk on my YF-29s Quote
no3Ljm Posted June 27, 2014 Posted June 27, 2014 The intakes on the YF-30 detach in Gerwalk mode. It was always going to be on the ball joint. I'm assuming we can still put back the intakes during Gerwalk mode. But it will just limits the swivel joint movement. I really don't mind if I limit the swivel joint by doing that. As long that it will not get too loose. Gerwalk is for jerks I like Gerwalk on my YF-29s I'm a jerk for loving YF-19's Gerwalk mode. Hence, my avatar. Hahaha! Quote
