Mr March Posted December 17, 2012 Posted December 17, 2012 Wow, that's kinda cool. Feels like an initial shot at it, but I can just imagine how it would look with a huge budget Quote
chillyche Posted December 17, 2012 Posted December 17, 2012 Yeah, the tracking is pretty decent (with a glitch during the fade up), but the model doesn't blend in as photorealistic. Part of the problem is that the cbackground plate is sort of overexposed and low resolution, making the VF-0 stand out. The other thing that jumps to mind is that I can't see the panel lines on any of the cars, but I can see them on the Valk and they're HUGE, like the size of a roof-rack on one of those cars. Maybe if you reduced the depth of those panel lines, and their width, it would help the model feel to scale. It's a good model, after all, and as I said, the tracking is good. Better than I've done. SeminNV Posted December 18, 2012 Author Posted December 18, 2012 thanks for feedback! that was just a quick and dirty test next time I just blur more ) yea, lighting is not my strong point, that's the key to realism This video impressed me: Quote
SeminNV Posted December 19, 2012 Author Posted December 19, 2012 (edited) I played a bit with the new rendering engine, what do you think guys? Uploaded with ImageShack.us Uploaded with ImageShack.us Edited December 19, 2012 by SeminNV Quote
Mr March Posted December 19, 2012 Posted December 19, 2012 Oh yeah, that looks better, though not sure if it fits the scene. Outdoors looks overcast and the light is very diffused on all the other objects. Quote

David Hingtgen Posted December 19, 2012 Posted December 19, 2012 I would say---darker shadow. With how close it is to the ground, it seems like a "far away" shadow. Quote
