Hikaru1234567890 Posted November 27, 2012 Posted November 27, 2012 Hi i just bought a vf 25f with the super parts i was wondering if it was worth it? Quote
Reïvaj Posted November 27, 2012 Posted November 27, 2012 That's a great question to be made a bit earlier Quote
Benson13 Posted November 27, 2012 Posted November 27, 2012 Depends on how much you paid for it. I've gotten 3 25S and 2 are broke but make for great display pieces. Quote
Murphy Posted November 27, 2012 Posted November 27, 2012 Was it the vf-25f/super parts gift set? Well if you paid less than $100 for it I would say yes. But no if you ever played with a v.2 Quote
Chronocidal Posted November 27, 2012 Posted November 27, 2012 (edited) Well, considering the cost of the V.2 VF-25s, if you got the blue tinted Alto giftset for cheap, it's really kind of a bargain. That particular one was probably the best bundled release of the V.1 VF-25s, with a few fixes the others never got. I picked one up because that one didn't sell well, and it went on heavy discount. It's not great in battroid, and pretty terrible in gerwalk, but it makes a nice fighter display. The super packs help to hide some of the shortcomings of the first version. grymg Posted November 27, 2012 Posted November 27, 2012 (edited) so I assume you won the auction on ebay? It was used so watch out for loose pegs, stress cracks, and ball joints. Edited November 27, 2012 by grymg Quote
UN Spacy Posted November 27, 2012 Posted November 27, 2012 ...and tampo printing that comes off easily...and plastic that's probably yellowed. Quote
Hikaru1234567890 Posted November 28, 2012 Author Posted November 28, 2012 I got it for $122.06. Quote

aceoftherebellion Posted November 29, 2012 Posted November 29, 2012 Yeah, that's pretty good I think. I've been trying to buy one of those for around that price too, haha Quote
grymg Posted November 29, 2012 Posted November 29, 2012 Nice, I ended up with a v1 Alto sealed box for around the same price. No complaints here after multiple transformations as long as you know up front what the downsides are of the v1. I do handle the toy with the extreme delicacy like I'm defusing a thermal detonator. . . But it works for me. I wish I had the super parts kit just for the stand but I can settle for a flightpose. Valkyrie Magnus Posted November 29, 2012 Posted November 29, 2012 Mine was a gift from my wife back in 2009 during hard times. I can't get the renewal for that one because my wife will kill me. Having said that It looks great. I don't transform it much but it looks cool on the shelf. Quote

Hikaru1234567890 Posted December 18, 2012 Author Posted December 18, 2012 Havent received the VF-25F yet its been 3 weeks. Quote
grymg Posted December 20, 2012 Posted December 20, 2012 I finally got a super parts set for my Alto v1. The included stand works great for battroid mode. The stand doesn't work good for fighter mode w/o super parts installed unless you put down the rear landing gear (but it looks kind of funny). I began to install some of the super parts and didn't want to risk scratching the wing paint from trying to slide on the huge wing boosters (clearance is tight) so I put them back in the box. I only bought the set for the stand anyway. Quote
Hikaru1234567890 Posted December 21, 2012 Author Posted December 21, 2012 yeah i did the same thing you did i just got it yesterday Quote
