DX Chogokin VF-171 Cannon Fodder

I always like these cannon fodder themes. It adds a bit of realism compared to all the "look at me!" paint schemes.

That would depend on the sales of the 171 line, and if Bandai wishes to milk the mold. Judging by the their anouncement of the CF version, one can assume that the Alto's EX sold well enough to warrant this new release, and the 30th anniversary YF-29 tends to point to their willingness to make multiple variants of Frontier's VFs.

Just think, now that they have tooling for the EX and regular VF-171s they can offer us not only Luca's EX, but also the CF Elint.

Bandai Collector's division recently announced and solicited orders for releases up to Mar 2013. The star item being the Chogokin Disney combiner. No DX Chogokin Mac F figures were listed.

Unless they are added in at the last minute, it looks like after Mar 2013.

Yes, the blue on the 171ex armor won't look as good on this. Confident now in my decision to skip them. Definitely going for this one!
