VF-19
I'll play it... As long as it's not as brutally hard as Terror from the deep. That game still makes me want to put my fist through my monitor to this very day!
Mr March
None of the new X-COM games are as hard as those old school titles. But to their credit, the new games do offer more challenge than most other modern video games, which are almost without any challenge at all. VF-19
The first X-com isn't all that hard, at least until you get to the aliens that and mind control your soldiers. After you get mind control (and soldiers that are very good at it), the game is laughably easy. Terror from the deep... Lobstermen. Just Lobstermen... WHY?!?!??!? F-ZeroOne
Clearly never done a Terror Mission at night with Chryssalids...
VF-19
Clearly never done a Terror Mission at night with Chryssalids... I have. That's where I liberally use blaster bombs on the map. Lots of apologies needed later, but all my soldiers come back alive.
Mr March
Lobsters and Chryssalids...all these crustaceans are making me damned hungry

dizman
Somehow I missed it up till now but new XCOM 2 expansion!
frothymug
I'm looking forward to this, but does anyone know if it's a continued storyline from the original campaign, or an upgrade to the existing story... like what Enemy Within was for XCOM 1? dizman
It's likely to be an upgrade like Enemy Within so time for an all new playthrough. I do remember hearing that the Avatar project timer was going to be slowed down some so they could fit all the new stuff in so at least there's that. Duymon
Honestly I don't see myself picking it up right away. Gonna wait until Pavonis makes LW2 compatible with the new DLC first. I can't go back to regular x-com without Long war mods
frothymug
I'm probably gonna pick it up as soon as it drops. These past few days, I've been fighting the temptation to play XCOM2 all the way through for the 3rd time.
