Astralith Posted September 15, 2012 Posted September 15, 2012 (edited) http://www.g-system-shop.com/product_info.php?cPath=31&products_id=369 Has anyone tried these Gundam hands on a VF-1 v2? I want something more possible than what came with mine and less Mickey Mouse than the posed hands. Edited September 15, 2012 by Astralith Quote
Ahab Posted September 15, 2012 Posted September 15, 2012 Haven't tried it yet, but it's a great idea. I've got some perfect grade 1/60 kits, which are way too big, obviously. Maybe 1/100 scale hands can do the trick? Quote
Reïvaj Posted September 15, 2012 Posted September 15, 2012 http://www.g-system-...products_id=369 Has anyone tried these Gundam hands on a VF-1 v2? I want something more possible than what came with mine and less Mickey Mouse than the posed hands. I bought them some time ago for another project and I can tell you they won’t fit your VF-1 v.2s. They are extremely big. If you want I could post some pics later. Quote
anime52k8 Posted September 15, 2012 Posted September 15, 2012 I don't own those but if they're the same size as bandai's 1/60 pg gundam hands: Quote

Astralith Posted September 16, 2012 Author Posted September 16, 2012 (edited) Yikes! (Face Palm) I just remembered Gundams are bigger than Valks. Thanks for saving me $20 guys Edited September 16, 2012 by Astralith Quote
ultraman zoffy Posted September 16, 2012 Posted September 16, 2012 At that size, how about using these as an alternative for the 1/48's chicken hands? Quote
jenius Posted September 16, 2012 Posted September 16, 2012 Maybe replacements for the Yamato Scopedog toys? Quote
claude grant Posted September 16, 2012 Posted September 16, 2012 Hey Astralith, you might want to investigate these hands from Hobby Base...i think the 1/144 just might be a perfect match for the 1/60 v2's. Hope this helps. http://www.gaijin-gunpla.com/hobby-base-hands/ Quote
numagus99 Posted September 19, 2012 Posted September 19, 2012 The 1/100 builder Parts Hands by Bandai should also work. http://www.hlj.com/product/BAN977921 http://www.hlj.com/product/BAN976502 The Zeon hand are much more rounded of the two. Quote

Astralith Posted October 28, 2012 Author Posted October 28, 2012 (edited) They won't fit, 1/100 is too large while 1/144 is too small... I don't know Swoosh, the Mickey Mouse hand looks about the same size as that 1/100 scale. I doubt it will tuck into the arm for transformation though. Nice work man, thanks! I wish the VF-1S Hikaru fixed-posed hands were available with the option parts. Edited October 28, 2012 by Astralith Quote
Loop Posted November 4, 2012 Posted November 4, 2012 They won't fit, 1/100 is too large while 1/144 is too small... How does the hand on the far left look on 1/48's? Quote
lorn_13 Posted November 5, 2012 Posted November 5, 2012 Some example for 1/60 macross and 1/100 gundam I use 1/100 hand with VF1 ver1. For 1/100 Gelgoog, I plan to use it with my old bandai VF19 Quote
