eriku Posted December 8, 2003 Posted December 8, 2003 Oh my....that's the most beautiful thing I've seen all weekend! Watching that player get all those 1-UPs by bomb-bouncing was like watching pure magic. I was sort of let down though that it cut off before the end-sequence.
Anubis Posted December 8, 2003 Posted December 8, 2003 That was absolutely beautiful. He was never touched and look how many 1-ups he got from consecutive stompings!
Isamu Atreides 86 Posted December 8, 2003 Posted December 8, 2003 wow. i wonder how many times he had to do that to get it down....
muswp1 Posted December 8, 2003 Posted December 8, 2003 That is the luckiest game I have ever seen. To hit all those 1-Up's without getting creamed is pure luck.
Effect Posted December 8, 2003 Posted December 8, 2003 Oh man. That was crazy. I agree, luck payed a huge part of that game, especially at the speed the player was flying through those levels.
waylandcool Posted December 8, 2003 Posted December 8, 2003 That was amazing. He had to have been playing for at least a few years straight to go through it that fast. I almost want to bust out my SMB 3 and try it. However sleep would then be a problem.
KingNor Posted December 8, 2003 Author Posted December 8, 2003 Oh man. That was crazy. I agree, luck payed a huge part of that game, especially at the speed the player was flying through those levels. i dunno, the game resets the exact same way when its played, it could be possible to just remember where everything is and fly through it. for the most part i believe this is what he/she did.
yellowlightman Posted December 8, 2003 Posted December 8, 2003 That is the luckiest game I have ever seen. To hit all those 1-Up's without getting creamed is pure luck. Pretty sure most of it was skill and memorization. It's obvious the guy's been playing the game for a very long time. Very cool video, it's too bad he used the warp whistles though.
GreenGuy42 Posted December 8, 2003 Posted December 8, 2003 I saw this thing on college humor no so long ago.... sick.. just sick.... I envy someone who had the dedication to perform such a task...
justvinnie Posted December 8, 2003 Posted December 8, 2003 Is it me or does anyone else feel inadequate at Mario 3 now? vinnie
MrDisco Posted December 8, 2003 Posted December 8, 2003 i briefly considered hooking the nes back up but then i remember how frustrating it would be to play
KingNor Posted December 8, 2003 Author Posted December 8, 2003 I saw this thing on college humor no so long ago.... sick.. just sick....I envy someone who had the dedication to perform such a task... imagine, this kind of dedication put into something like medicine or automotive? a few guys like this and we'd all be in tip top health driving cars that get 100 mpg with no emissions.
Veifwan Es Posted December 8, 2003 Posted December 8, 2003 Wow...that's the equivilant of digital ballet. Simply amazing.
Wes Posted December 8, 2003 Posted December 8, 2003 Is it me or does anyone else feel inadequate at Mario 3 now?vinnie No, to think of all the time my best friend and I invested in that game when we were like 10, to see this?
