electric indigo Posted January 19, 2017 Posted January 19, 2017 It still looks like a good movie, but that trailer was really lame compared to the first. All thumbs up for X-23! Quote
sh9000 Posted January 19, 2017 Posted January 19, 2017 The guy in the convenience store looks like MCU Quicksilver. Can't wait for this movie! Red band trailer. Quote
TangledThorns Posted January 19, 2017 Posted January 19, 2017 Looks like it will this year's Deadpool and that's a good thing. Quote
sh9000 Posted January 19, 2017 Posted January 19, 2017 Wear a costume in a flashback for a brief moment. Quote
sh9000 Posted January 20, 2017 Posted January 20, 2017 Got this shirt last time when there was a sale. Channeling Calvin and Hobbes. I'll probably wear it when the movie opens. Quote
Golden Arms Posted January 20, 2017 Posted January 20, 2017 I think the comic in the trailer will be the only time we see wolverine in a comic looking costume on the big screen. Quote
seti88 Posted January 20, 2017 Posted January 20, 2017 Can anyone ID the issues he was holding? I would have tot he would be reading an xmen with a wolvie cover as an easter egg Quote

seti88 Posted January 20, 2017 Posted January 20, 2017 Ah I didn't know that. Missed opportunity for Easter eggs there... they didn't have the budget to source the actuals Quote
sh9000 Posted January 20, 2017 Posted January 20, 2017 What if those costume designs for those comics are based on designs that exist in some way in the movie universe? Quote
Mommar Posted January 20, 2017 Posted January 20, 2017 Interesting, Insaw the trailer andnimmediately wondered why they made fake comics for it. Quote
Golden Arms Posted January 20, 2017 Posted January 20, 2017 If you notice, they don't appear to have a MaRVEL logo on the covers. Maybe has to do with Marvel. Not sure. Quote

That could be too but if you notice onnthe few pages shown Wolverine is shown with Rogue and they have her done up in a very Anna Paquine-ish fashion. I think they wanted the comic characters to resemble their movie counterparts. Also, Wolvies comic costume looksnl terrible there. Quote

Mommar Posted February 19, 2017 Posted February 19, 2017 Couldn't find another place to put this but semi-relevant. Revoltech Wolverine prototype spotted at Wonder Fest. Extremely MvC style too. Quote

sh9000 Posted March 4, 2017 Posted March 4, 2017 (edited) It's Logan (and Deadpool) time!!!! Wow! Amazing! This is up there as one of my favorite superhero movies. Edited March 4, 2017 by sh9000 Quote
Negotiator Posted March 5, 2017 Posted March 5, 2017 It's was a great movie. That little girl was impressive. Superb acting for all of them. Quote
Big s Posted March 5, 2017 Posted March 5, 2017 It's an amazingly good film and truly makes up for so many bad or subpar X Men or Wolverine films. The down to earth action scenes are great looking and brutal. The story and emotional connection is by far the best I have ever seen with this franchise. I gotta admit being a bit choked up at several parts of this one. It may go in the running for best super hero film of all time. To be honest I didn't expect this to be so great. Quote
Golden Arms Posted March 5, 2017 Posted March 5, 2017 This was a great film all around, I can't give it enough praise. Easily the best film made involving comic book characters. Very Neo Western. Great send off for Mr. Jackman! Quote

Spoiler I mean....in the Fox universe mutants are mostly dead, so how will they make new movies? Alternate time lines? Quote
sh9000 Posted March 5, 2017 Posted March 5, 2017 Along with anything else and Deadpool films, Fox can still make X-Men films that take place in the past and X-Men films that take place in the future. Quote
Hikuro Posted March 6, 2017 Posted March 6, 2017 can also just reboot like usual. I thought the film was okay and just that. Dreadfully slow and I expected that. Quote
sh9000 Posted March 6, 2017 Posted March 6, 2017 Whatever they decide on, there's still plenty of X-Men films to be made. $237,800,000 worldwide so far. Not bad. Quote
Mommar Posted March 6, 2017 Posted March 6, 2017 Future timelines mean nothing in the X-Men universe anyway. Quote
