XFJ-01A Posted August 30, 2014 Posted August 30, 2014 Glad im not the only one who thought to put a Jolly Roger on the 30th YF-29. I did one better and put Roy's "001" insignias as well, regardless of the emblazoned S.M.S 030 insignias. Quote
Scream Man Posted August 30, 2014 Posted August 30, 2014 I did it to mine as well, though I used NUNS kites. In my head Megaroad 1 is still receiving updates on the galaxy Network, and custom built this one on the ship. Quote

XFJ-01A Posted August 31, 2014 Posted August 31, 2014 I believe it was 1/72. These were off my old DYRL Yamato VF-1S Quote
treatment Posted August 31, 2014 Posted August 31, 2014 I believe it was 1/72. These were off my old DYRL Yamato VF-1S I don't think Yamato ever made or sold 1/72 DYRL valks. Bandai, maybe? Quote
XFJ-01A Posted August 31, 2014 Posted August 31, 2014 No they were definitely Yamato. Their old style where you had to detach the legs to transform them. They dont have a scale printed on the box, I just assume 1/72, because they definitely aren't 1/60 Quote
David Hingtgen Posted August 31, 2014 Posted August 31, 2014 I wish the windscreen was easily removed (the main canopy is)----then maybe I could trade my clear Ozma canopy for a 30th's purplish one. (surely someone would like a totally clear one with the 30th ann scheme) But as it is, the non-removable windscreen makes it very hard to alter---was hard enough to make clear because of that, would be much harder to try to re-color. (and is the main reason I've never tried to re-color my Ozma's canopy to either a subtle blue or purple color) Quote
close313 Posted August 31, 2014 Posted August 31, 2014 They're 1/60 V1's. Yamato only produced 1/72 valks mostly from M+. Quote
Scream Man Posted September 1, 2014 Posted September 1, 2014 Mine were off 1/60 Yamato's as well. Quote
Saburo Posted September 1, 2014 Posted September 1, 2014 Hmmm.. I may have to track down a 1/72nd water slide decal set from a Jolly Rogers F-14 or FA-18, might be a little small though. Quote
chyll2 Posted September 1, 2014 Posted September 1, 2014 there are a lot of waterslide maker in ebay. maybe you can try to track down a reputable seller and try to give them logo and size you want for printing. Quote

macster1971 Posted September 2, 2014 Posted September 2, 2014 For a Valk that not many people seem to like it seems to be selling pretty well, In fact i'd go as far as to say "They're Flying off the shelves!" I Prefer The Isamu Dyson colour scheme. Quote
Silverstreak Posted September 2, 2014 Posted September 2, 2014 30th is my favourite YF-29 scheme. Quote
Deadeye_281 Posted September 2, 2014 Posted September 2, 2014 30th is my favourite YF-29 scheme. The 30th ann 29 is a beautiful valk for sure. Skull 'n bones on the tailfins should have been a tampo no-brainer however...then again, black skull 'n bones and black SMS 030 markings on a white fuselage should have been a tampo no-brainer as well. THIS! ...otherwise I love both of mine and I rank it well above Alto's. Keep in mind I have a very heavy bias towards Focker and Ozma though. They could release a mediocre Focker/Ozma and I'd eat that shi*t right up! Quote
ophio Posted January 9, 2015 Posted January 9, 2015 Hi guys , are there any methods to fix and tighten the rotating wing turbine area of the YF-29 30th ozma valk . Mine is pretty loose especially when the super parts are fixed onto it . Quote
jenius Posted January 9, 2015 Posted January 9, 2015 (edited) A clear piece of scotch tape does the trick and is easily removed. Just cut a tiny sliver of the stuff and apply it between the wing and the rotating part. Edited January 9, 2015 by jenius Quote
no3Ljm Posted January 9, 2015 Posted January 9, 2015 My Isamu's as well. Thank jenius for the tip. Quote
ophio Posted January 9, 2015 Posted January 9, 2015 Thanks Jenius for the tip ! I was thinking of using nail polish but was afraid that it might make things ugly . Quote

Let me spare you the grief and take that hangar off of your hands. I will even offer to take it and not charge any sort of fee. You will have to pay for shipping though. ...just kidding.
