UN Spacy Posted June 20, 2012 Posted June 20, 2012 I recently finished the tv series and will be starting the manga (35 out of 36 volumes have been translated). Quote
UN Spacy Posted June 30, 2012 Author Posted June 30, 2012 Richard Eisenbeis from Kotaku wrote an article about it. http://kotaku.com/5922239/the-second-berserk-movie-is-better-than-the-first Quote
Marzan Posted November 16, 2012 Posted November 16, 2012 (edited) There's already a trailer out for Berserk Golden Age Arc III Descent. http://www.animenewsnetwork.com/news/2012-11-16/3rd-berserk-film-full-trailer-poster-unveiled It seems that they really will only cover the same ground as in the TV series. And not surpringly for anyone who knows the manga or the TV series, it's going to be R18+. Edited November 16, 2012 by Marzan Quote
Omegablue Posted November 16, 2012 Posted November 16, 2012 Volumne 36 was translated about a few months back. I've recently started on 37. I thought they were planning like 7 films? Quote
Marzan Posted November 16, 2012 Posted November 16, 2012 Volumne 36 was translated about a few months back. I've recently started on 37. I thought they were planning like 7 films? Have they? I thought they were only doing a trilogy. Well, that is excellent news if it indeed happens. Only problem is that Berserk the manga is years away from completion, if Miura is even thinking of finishing it at all. Quote

That's my fear. It feels it's dragging a bit since introducing the Pirates. Edited November 16, 2012 by Omegablue Quote
bob joe mac Posted November 16, 2012 Posted November 16, 2012 I heard they planned on making more after the first three assuming they are successful. But yea even though these movies are just the cliff note versions of the story more berserk is good berserk IMO. Heres hoping for some post golden age stuff. Quote
