um, not to be dense, so nurse Sheryl is smaller than Basara Sheryl? if so, bummer...

That is correct.

It is a bummer, as nurse Sheryl is one I would have liked to have seen get a larger ~1/8 figure. The game prize figure we ended up with isn't that great; nurse Ranka is the better looking of the two figures, I think.

You forget that Macross 2 is wiped from existence. So no love for Ishtar and no love for the VF-2SS. ^_^

So it should be either Sharon Apple or Sarah Nome.

The Ishtar design was one of the better parts of Macross 2. I think I have a few posters on heavy paper with her. Maybe from Harmony Gold or Books Nippan? I can't remember. Anyway, someone could make a nice statue of Ishtar. Clayburn Moore for instance.

has there been a release date announced for the new MaxFactory Sheryl?

Yeah, this will be a hot seller when released. Someone post here or in the anime figure section if they see word of a pre-order date.

The fifth one is.. Sheryl again.

In Sarah's costume, I guess...

Yup. But was not wearing Sara's costume.

I watched a trial piece in ACE. Sorry, photography prohibited.

from that shape in the picture I guess It is Sheryl wearing Minmay´s dress from her first appearance in Do you remember love (when she sings Shao Pai Long and then is trapped with Hikaru, etc) The one that glows in the dark ...

It was just an initial clay model and not wearing a skirt. Not looked like 小白竜/ 小白龍 costume.

Some non-Japanese who can't read "photography prohibited" in Japanese might have taken some pictures, but in ACE, such people were fewer than those in TAF. There were many foreigners (for me) in TAF. They were the traders/ distributors of Animes who had attended on the TAF business day, I guess.

That would actually explain the hair decoration. I had thought it was someone in the fancy kimono that they made a figure of Sheryl in before, but that would give a similar look to the hair.

 So what can that be? I can't remember many costume without a skirt/ dress.

I checked www.moeyo.com.

>イラストのシェリルの原型展示がありましたが、撮影禁止でした

The blog master says the model was based on this illustration.

The posing was actually like this.

>まだ本当に荒削りという段階でしたが、なかなか良い雰囲気でしたよ~。

Yup. Some pieces of masking tape or adhesive tape are on the model. Really an initial model it was.

Thanks! But 1 Kuji and the SQ figures are basing on the same dress... ? In such a short time-frame... So weird.

Hm. If Ichiban-kuji is "Kyun-Chara World," the figures will be the deformed ones.
But will be "Ichiban-kuji Premium." His and my misunderstandings?
And I wonder if the right arm of the Sheryl model I saw might have been a little different from that illustration. She might have had her right arm down... The other part was not so different.
I watched it in front of it, but a guard was watching and I never betray Japanese otakus; if I did it, they would kick my ass, so I didn't shoot its video.

I am in the market for a Sheryl figure to scale with my Ex-Gear Alto.

Any recommendations?

as per HLJ Alto Ex-Gear is 16cm (not sure if that's bare, or with the armor on). so it's a little small for 1/10 scale.

the Banpresto DXF line has figures ranging from 15-18cm, the Sheryl Nurse is 16cm. she will be over scale compared to Alto, but same height. unfortunately, that's as close as you can get.

if you want Alto to fool around, CMS Minmay is 17cm...

which unfortunately means it's also a bit more expensive than most.

but heck, i'm not complaining. honestly, i find the price cheap for what it offers.

i'm just so happy it's 1/7. should look ok with the Banpresto Sheryl's, even if the figure itself will be a bit smaller in comparison.

for a while i was afraid Max Factory would make the same mistake they had with the Hatsune Miku VN02, which would've been a fantastic display piece but the figure itself was just too small at 1/8. to this day, i haven't taken it out of the box and considered selling it several times.

Can't afford her at the moment, and I need another Sheryl like a hole in the head (even have the other figure in that same pose), and yet I want her so bad. It's just too damn perfect, and I love the one I have.
