Since it's Civil War week, here's a look back at the worst thing to happen to Cap. And we're not just talking about the rubber ears.

Oh yeah, there's also this steaming pile.

You should try testing your pain threshold with 2016. Those Ghanaians make Uwe Boll look like Francis Ford Coppola.

Do yourselves a favor and get the Rifftrax version instead! See ROTOR's destructive power as he barrels through folding chairs!

Just when you thought you had erased this from your memories...

It would have been far easier (and much quicker) to write down what was correct with it.

It really had a lot of promise but they totally messed up every last bit by the end.

I had to keep reminding myself that this was for sci-fi films only, and then I was happy that I've only seen three that got ranked:

  • Star Trek V (too many questions)
  • Superman IV (too much spandex)
  • Highlander II (not enough scotch)

If Superman IV is on the list then Superman III should be on there as well - both of them are certainly deserving.

III is bad, but nowhere near the abysmal levels of IV. Whereas III had a budget but no creativity, IV had neither budget nor creativity, as Cannon Films squandered nearly half of the original budget on 10 or so other films that were being made at the same time. Also, III has that redeeming scene where Clark battles his evil self, while IV has no redeeming qualities at all.

If anyone ever managed to make one worse, well, shooting is too good for them. Drawn and Quartering probably too.

The Brazen Bull and Blood Eagle are too humane for them as well. Perhaps we should just clamp their eyes open and make them watch their own films.

We must have different definitions of the word "redeeming" but I'll leave it at both films being trash.

Now THAT is a good idea!

It's Independence Day week, so let's focus on director Roland Emmerich. Of all his films, which is his worst?

  • Moon 44 (1990)
  • Universal Soldier (1992)
  • Stargate (1994)
  • Independence Day (1996)
  • Godzilla (1998)
  • The Patriot (2000)
  • The Day After Tomorrow (2004)
  • 10,000 B.C. (2008)
  • 2012 (2009)
  • Anonymous (2011)
  • White House Down (2013)
  • Stonewall (2015)
  • Independence Day: Resurgence (2016)

I'd like to say "Godzilla", but I'm going to go with "The Patriot". 've only seen bits and pieces of that movie whenever its on the boob tube, and it doesn't hold my attention when I go channel surfing during the CM breaks.

Haven't seen any of the subsequent movies... so that's that line in the sand.
