Laundro Posted September 7, 2016 Posted September 7, 2016 You just gave me the incentive to start talking more on the cast. If i randomly skip through the podcast its Craig talking 90% of the time. So by all means, please step in Quote
Mazinger Posted September 7, 2016 Posted September 7, 2016 (edited) And thank you Save for reminding us that the Ride Armors are not named after vacuum cleaners Edited September 7, 2016 by Mazinger Quote
Einherjar Posted September 8, 2016 Posted September 8, 2016 With all the things I've been wondering about Hayate for a while now, his trial in episode 24 might be the big payoff in terms of his backstory. Quote
Tochiro Posted September 12, 2016 Author Posted September 12, 2016 It's a full house this week as the Crew gathers at SpeakerPODcast HQ in Tokyo to discuss the traumatic events of Episode 24 of Macross Delta. http://www.macrossworld.com/speakerpodcast-ep-67-macrossΔ-ep-24-spoilercast/ Quote
Mazinger Posted September 12, 2016 Posted September 12, 2016 Haven't listened yet, but I just want to know that Mike is ok. Mike, how are you holding up? Be strong man. Hang in there. Quote
Laundro Posted September 12, 2016 Posted September 12, 2016 (edited) YES! Excellent podcast gents.Really enjoyed it. Everyone sounds like they're having fun and equally contributing. More of this please. BE STRONG MIKE!! Edited September 12, 2016 by Laundro Quote
This Confuses Gamlin Posted September 13, 2016 Posted September 13, 2016 That was a great byplay, even if it was built on the back of Mike's suffering. Are you going to do a separate episode about the concert? Quote
505thAirborne Posted September 13, 2016 Posted September 13, 2016 Excellent Podcast, you guys are having waaaaay too much fun there! I thought Renato's opinions & Mike's reactions were classic! Quote
Scream Man Posted September 13, 2016 Posted September 13, 2016 If i randomly skip through the podcast its Craig talking 90% of the time. So by all means, please step in Sorry. Seems maybe Im ruining peoples experience. Quote
Laundro Posted September 13, 2016 Posted September 13, 2016 Craig, don't take it personally but you talk WAY to much dude. Let others have their turn. Listening to the older podcast's it feels like all the other speakers constantly have to wait for you to finish. Ep23 podcast even felt very tense at times, didn't Adrian have to step in at one point? Its not that I don't value your opinion on Delta, just ease up a little and let other people get a chance to get in on the action also. This is only my opinion, I don't speak on behalf of the entire listener base Just take it as constructive criticism and just apply the breaks from time to time. On a personal note i would love more Karice and Macross E news on the show. Quote
BlueMax Posted September 13, 2016 Posted September 13, 2016 Excellent podcast for 24. Mike's awesomeness seems to be directly proportional to the amount of screen/ action time/ intensity of Makina.... Don't worry Mike, I'm sure they'll pull through! I don't agree that the shot should have come from the front.... since you cited "padding"... lol. They still need her Hope and Dreams to anchor the fanboys! Quote
Marzan Posted September 14, 2016 Posted September 14, 2016 Haven't had a chance to hear some of the other episodes, guys, but it seems you guys are enjoying yourselves more and more. Mike's reactions actually make me warm up to Makina. So far Makina has been nothing but a fanservice character created to sell hug pillows and figurines but Mike's true love makes me hope she survives and he can thereby retain his sanity Quote
asukamaru Posted September 19, 2016 Posted September 19, 2016 Podcast are more entertaining than the show A question for the insiders: Do you have any idea of what happened with the production? Kawamori doesn't seem to be directly involved with it for a long time now and since he wanted to do a non Macross show at the beginning ... If one would consider that the whole direction was taken out of his hands quite early in the process (and he left happily to work on "the next") maybe one would understand how we ended up with this lifeless product(s)? I watched AKB48 some time ago, and in my memory it is more Macross than Delta is. Will you do some kind of wrap up podcast about delta after the shows end? Quote
BlueMax Posted September 19, 2016 Posted September 19, 2016 Podcast are more entertaining than the show I totally agree with that statement. Quote
Saruta Posted September 20, 2016 Posted September 20, 2016 Right-click to download does not work for me (Chrome here). Quote
Tochiro Posted September 21, 2016 Author Posted September 21, 2016 It took us a bit longer than usual due to certain translations we were all busy with, but our Ep.25 cast is finally live!http://www.macrossworld.com/speakerpodcast-ep-68-macrossΔ-ep-25-spoilercast/ Saruta - I tested it with Chrome today and the right click DL seemed to work. ^^; asukamaru - given our unique relation to Delta, I'm afraid we are unable to comment in any official capacity regarding its production, sorry! Laundro Posted September 21, 2016 Posted September 21, 2016 Excellent podcast gents! Craig had my sides in orbit with some of those Berger jokes Quote
asukamaru Posted September 21, 2016 Posted September 21, 2016 (edited) Ah, i understood you worked in Japan but didn't know you were directly involved, sorry Anyway, fun and bittersweet podcast. Edited September 21, 2016 by asukamaru Quote
Sandman Posted September 21, 2016 Posted September 21, 2016 What was the name of the anime Craig said to check out? I couldn't make it out. Quote
Scream Man Posted September 21, 2016 Posted September 21, 2016 At the end? Sweetness and Lightning I think. It's a show about a widowed father and his daughter who bond through cooking. Chokes me up frequently, but the rest of the guys on my anime show don't feel the same, so it may be a Dad thing As for Berger jokes, lettuce agree we are bun with them. Quote
Sandman Posted September 21, 2016 Posted September 21, 2016 (edited) Yeah that was one i was thinking. I may check it out (i'm a dad too). Thinking of checking that Pollyanna one Renato was talking about as well. Is it the 80s series or is it a newer remake? Edited September 21, 2016 by Sandman Quote
Tochiro Posted September 22, 2016 Author Posted September 22, 2016 Ladies & Gentlemen, we have spawned our first gif. I feel like a proud parent :-) https://twitter.com/stubborn_natto/status/778805404323020800 Quote
Einherjar Posted September 23, 2016 Posted September 23, 2016 (edited) Jokes aside, the real stinger with Berger is that he's been set up to get Kaifun's ending. Not only does he get to walk away from the conflict before the finale, but may get to spend the next few years living comfortably off the protagonists' exploits. At least there's a slight chance for him getting space lung cancer compared to just alcoholism. Oh well, next episode is going to be rough. Edited September 23, 2016 by Einherjar Quote
Save Posted September 29, 2016 Posted September 29, 2016 We're running behind on the final installment of Gertalk, due to our host being out of commission (Var Syndrome obviously). If anybody here would like to send in their comments or questions before we record, go ahead and PM directly with your questions, jokes or shout-outs. Quote

Looking forward to this Podcast, rather curious as to the opinions of the finale. Last few installments have been rather hilarious! Quote
Scream Man Posted September 29, 2016 Posted September 29, 2016 Tochiro is still getting his voice back, but I believe Karice is feeling better. I'm not sure if any of the others were sick, but I would guess we'd record next week at the earliest. Quote
This Confuses Gamlin Posted September 29, 2016 Posted September 29, 2016 Doing any concert-related podcasts? Quote
kalvasflam Posted September 29, 2016 Posted September 29, 2016 Was the finale was so disappointing that the final podcast has been cancelled? Hope not, looking forward to the remarks this week, especially from Mike regarding the trooper that is Makina... singing while wounded. So courageous. Quote
Marzan Posted September 29, 2016 Posted September 29, 2016 Shame to hear some of you guys have been ill. Delta withdrawal syndrome? What's the knee-jerk reaction to Delta been with Japanese audiences? Is Big West going to get bang for it's buck or is the franchise going to go back to it being niche of a niche? Quote
Scream Man Posted September 29, 2016 Posted September 29, 2016 Was the finale was so disappointing that the final podcast has been cancelled? Well so far I'm the only one on the show I know of who liked it , but I haven't spoken to everyone. So maybe Quote
Laundro Posted September 30, 2016 Posted September 30, 2016 I have reason to believe Tochiro is moonlighting as a Walkure member while Makina heals up Quote
Scream Man Posted October 1, 2016 Posted October 1, 2016 ...Oh God, I did not need that image in my head.... Quote
Marzan Posted October 2, 2016 Posted October 2, 2016 I have reason to believe Tochiro is moonlighting as a Walkure member while Makina heals up I think he could pull off a convincing Reina Quote
Scream Man Posted October 3, 2016 Posted October 3, 2016 We're recording the episode right now. Quote
