pfunk Posted May 2, 2012 Posted May 2, 2012 Was wondering what shops you guys use. I recently made a couple transaction Hobbylinc.com, They seemed pretty reasonable on everything and carry a lot. I noticed ehobbies and amazon are pretty pricey I picked up Tamiya paint, masking tape, and misc stuff Quote
Penguin Posted May 2, 2012 Posted May 2, 2012 Hobbylink Japan and Squadron.com fill in the blanks that my local hobby stores don't. Quote
pfunk Posted May 2, 2012 Author Posted May 2, 2012 Yeah, Ive used HLJ a lot through the years. Squadron.com seems to have a lot of kits at really good prices Quote
MechTech Posted May 3, 2012 Posted May 3, 2012 My signature block covers a lot, but for mostly "conventional" kits: http://www.scalehobbyist.com/ They had the cheapest prices I could find for most everything and they have a "live" stock status. Shipping and packing is good too. I still think I've blown more at HLJ though And I have to put in a plug for my Alma Mater where I used to manage (21 years ago ), Hobby People (Hobby Shack back then): http://www.hobbypeople.net/index.php/general-hobbies/plastic-models.html That's where I got hooked on Tamiya paints (which they carry). Great selection of most tools too. Have fun! - MT Quote
