Kurt Posted March 12, 2012 Posted March 12, 2012 Here is a pair of 1A's I just finished. I apologize for the images. I am really struggling with a new camera to get to take decent pictures up close. Sorry, I hope you enjoy anyway. Quote
Benson13 Posted March 12, 2012 Posted March 12, 2012 Awesome Kurt. Do you have set fees for your work? Quote
Old Man Posted March 12, 2012 Posted March 12, 2012 Stunning as always, Kurt! Boy, you weren't kidding. You HAVE had plenty to keep you busy. I'll be sending more work your way any day now. Quote
Kurt Posted March 12, 2012 Author Posted March 12, 2012 Awesome Kurt. Do you have set fees for your work? Thanks guys. I price each custom based on the work involved, no set fee. Quote
MechTech Posted March 13, 2012 Posted March 13, 2012 Nice set of some -1A lovin'! Looks like your camera is like mine, picky with the lighting. - MT Quote
Evilware Posted March 13, 2012 Posted March 13, 2012 What do you use to mark the lines? Do you paint them or use a pen? I saw a video of a guy doing weathering on a Gundam model and he was using a special pen. Great job! Quote
GMANIFESS Posted March 13, 2012 Posted March 13, 2012 Those ultra-fine tip Gundam markers in grey & black are awesome for panel-lining. Quote

I saw a video of a guy doing weathering on a Gundam model and he was using a special pen. Great job! Panel lining is done with oil washes. There is also some airbrushed pre & post shading to bring it out. My technique is more subtle than some I have seen. It really does not stand out in these images, better in person. Quote
peter Posted March 20, 2012 Posted March 20, 2012 Thanks guys. I price each custom based on the work involved, no set fee. So, basically, if I have to ask, I probably can't afford it? Haha, just kidding. Can you give me a ball-park on how much it would cost me to ask you to build up a 1/24 scale resin kit? Please PM me if you don't want to post it here. i'm just curious more than anything at this moment. Quote
