TangledThorns
Dang it, I think I may have gotten rid of or lost my spare 360 controller when I moved. Looked everywhere for it. I've had mine for the PC since they were released. Its now all yellow from the oxidation.

JB0
Sega has acquired the IP of one of Japan's most underrated studios. To save everyone the clicking, that studio is Technosoft, best known as the developer of the Thunder Force series.

Chronocidal
You haven't seen the FF/Star Wars crossover until you play or watch the story from XIV online.. it's so hilariously similar to the movies that it hurts. JB0
Fortunately, this is a really clear case of plagiarism because Star Wars is a completely original story that draws upon no traditional cliches at all.
Tking22
Gears 4 tonight at midnight for those that got the Ultimate Edition, which I did, because I am a die hard Gears fan, I love these games. Unfortunately I have to work tomorrow so I won't get to enjoy Horde 3.0 until later tomorrow night. Anyone else a Gears fan?

JB0
I couldn't decide if a Touhou homage to Macross 7 went in the fan works thread or the video games thread. So I flipped a coin and here we are.

dizman
Somewhat sad news today, Swery65 announced he's retiring from Access Games for the time being. He was the writer and director for Deadly Premonition and D4, both are great games with no equal. Here's the full story on RPS https://www.rockpapershotgun.com/2016/10/31/deadly-premonition-creator-swery-leaves-studio/
Black Valkyrie
Mega Drive Limited Edition, sadly only in Brazil.
JB0
Mega Drive Limited Edition, sadly only in Brazil. "includes a slot for Micro SD cards" That and non-HDMI video means that, also sadly, it's Firecore-based. Not that rampant audio errors have stopped people from enjoying them to date(or from enjoying the absurdly-prevalent 1-chip NES clones), but the games deserve better. (And whenever someone insists hardware > emulation, you can always point to the 1-chip Famiclone or Firecore Genesis as counterexamples. )

JB0
No HDMI = not trying. They're using hardware that doesn't output digital video signals. Personally, I'd rather have the visible warnings that it's a Firecore unit than have it anonymized. They don't do pretty things to the sound. jenius
In best CEO voice: I didn't ask for excuses, I asked for HDMI!
JB0
Well, they should've waited until ATGames had the promised ARM+emulator package available! They are moving to emulation for their next generation of Genesis clones, which solves the accuracy problems as well as allowing for things like HDMI and state saves.
